We like this hotel for our short stay during a long trip. Good beds, big bath, good breakfast, very good smell when we arrive to the lobby.😃 just a little bit of usage can be seen now after the years. Close to many shopping options and by car only 10-15 mins from the city center. Good parking. This hotel is like a comfort food. Even if we arrive really tired, we have the same good quality of service, in winter, summer, autumn or spring. Thank you!

An artistic gem, Padua (or Padova in Italian) seamlessly combines awe-inspiring heritage and a modern vibe. Counting Galileo among its former tutors, the University has the world’s oldest UNESCO World Heritage-listed botanical garden.
Across the road is huge Prato della Valle, a green square with a canal lined by 78 statues, and home to a Saturday market. A market is also held in squares near to Palazzo della Ragione whose multilevel arches and vaulted wood ceiling are an impressive sight. Cobbled, portico streets lead to the finely-crafted Gran Loggia and clock tower.
Every church has incredible décor, but the most famous is Saint Anthony of Padua, featuring the bones of the saint, an impressive 7 cupolas and 4 cloisters. The square in front has a statue by Donatello. Padua Cathedral's simple exterior houses amazing frescoes inside the baptistery by Giotto, creator of the jewel in Padua’s crown – the Scrovegni Chapel. His 14th century frescoes there have been meticulously restored to be as vibrant as the day they were painted.
The closest airport is Venice Marco Polo, but before you head there from your Padua hotel, apartment or B&B take time to enjoy the narrow streets around Palazzo del Bò or the Jewish district.
My wife and I spent 5 nights in Padua.
We visited neighbouring towns of Vincenza and Verona.
A lot of history to explore.
Make sure you have good walking shoes, the cobblestone roads can be hard on the feet.
Plenty of shopping and excellent dining establishments.
The City TRAM was really good, better than the over priced Taxi service.
People of Padua were very friendly.

Really interesting city, great town square and churches, and the Giotto frescos (Capella Scrovegni) is a must see - but you do need to book in advance. And don't forget the botanical gardens either!

Charming city, the Duomo and Basilica of Saint Anthony are a Must See, but most of all, the Scrovegni Chapel, but you need to book for the Chapel on line, best a good few days before your visit, there is a city centre car park close by for 1.5 euros an hour.

We were quite surprised with the many features, buildings and public places in Padova. Public transport, especially the tram was amazing. There are many restaurants serving good quality meals. Definitely a place worthy of visit. Scrovegni Chapel must be booked well in advance if you want to view Giotto paintings. The basilica of Saint Anthony of Padua is amazing. Definitely one to put at the top of your list..

The area in the city is very pleasant to walk around and have a small bite and a good dinner. (Although the restaurants are opening at 20:00 hours, I'd like to eat earlier. More healthy.
On Saturday, there is this market and the shops are open till 20:00 hours some even later.
There is enough old architecture to see.

This 3 Star hotel can easily compete with many 4 Star hotels. Excellent value for money ratio, Staff is excellent (super efficient, and super nice), location is super convenient, rooms super clean and very well maintained all around .. not just the rooms. Nothing at all negative to say but all good things. I have been a world traveler for over 40 years (both business & personal) and I recommend the Giotto Hotel very strongly for someone who intends to visit Padova.
This hotel has a very nice central position in Padova, you are close to pretty much everything. Nice restaurants and bar around the hotel. The room itself is confortable & convenient, I had AC in the bedroom which is very useful in July. I was warmly welcomed by the landlord and his daughter who showed me the must-see spots in Padova. I highly recommend for some days in Padova !
I was on a conference at the Botanical Garden and this was 3 min walk from it.- Really central and charming hotel and you can reach anything in the city easily by foot. The breakfast is more varied than other hotels in Italy in general and very tasty, with lots of options. The staff is also really nice and very welcoming!
Location is amazing! 5 minutes of the highway and 15 minutes to Padova center with the bus. The bus stop is in front of the hotel. Hotel is very nice, feels like it is adapting/renovating slowly. Big parking. I'm really having difficult time finding hotels to my liking in Italy and this was a good find.
The most clean and fresh of all our different stays in Italy.
I can highly recommend it if you like really clean and nice places that are a bargin.
Perfect to stay when you need to fly out from Venice in the morning. Took 34 minutes,
Padova is also a really nice town:)
