This was the worst hotel that I’ve stayed at in my entire life and I’ve been to over 60 countries and I’ve stayed at over 1,000 hotels. Only positive is the location but there’s many hotels next door for 80% less and equally pretty. The biggest regret of my trip is staying here.

Mostar is an absolutely beautiful place & well worth the visit.
2 - 3 days there is definitely enough to see all the main attractions & sights while still having some to to relax.

There is so much history and so much to see across a small area. We bought the Mostar pass and got great value from it. We would also recommend the Museum of War and Genocide Victims, while the view from the minaret of the main Mosque was stunning.

Go for at least 2 days: the daytrips from Sarajevo takes too long drive, so you'll hardly will enjoy Mostar with a good vibe of Ottoman streets, pubs to enjoy a drink. You could take bus 10 to Baglaj for a short trip to stroll around mountanous area
During day the bridge is overcrowded, so try to go early morning for nice pictures.

We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay—beautiful sights, perfect location, great food, and kind people. There wasn’t really anything we didn’t like. If I had to offer a tip, I’d just say: take your time and soak it all in—Mostar has a magic you don’t want to rush.

Mostar is a very beautiful city and there’s so much more to explore and see. My interactions with the locals were very touching and we had many of these unforgettable moments. It was not just one or two people but with most of the locals that we had an opportunity to interact.
There’s a lot of natural beauty spots in Mostar and surrounding areas. As my first trip to Mostar I did not plan to visit many of the surrounding areas and now plan to do that in the future.
With all my travels in the past, I’d class our Mostar trip to be one of the very best. I look forward to many more visits to Mostar.
I pray for goodness and blessings to the beautiful people of Mostar!

I enjoyed the Old Town, bazaar and colourful buildings.
I enjoyed the Old Town, bazaar and colourful buildings. Also wandering around streets with bombed out buildings, pockmarked with bullet holes and the brilliantly coloured murals and graffiti everywhere one looks.

Impeccably clean, wonderful views over the Neretva River in the heart of Mostar, and a well furnished kitchen, as well as a sunny balcony made the apartment at Guest House City Star one of the very best places I've stayed during several months of traveling in the Balkans. The hosts are friendly and on the days they are around will make a great cup of Bosnian coffee for you, and when I asked for a corkscrew, the host delivered it along with a wonderful bottle of Hercegovian wine.
I chose this place because of its affordable price, privacy (own room and bathroom), location (near the Old Town and Old Bridge), easy to find on the map (I walked from the bus station) and I soon found out it had wonderful staff too. Erna was certainly friendly and helpful, she answered my questions about Mostar and Bosnia & Herzegovina and I applied what she said not only in Mostar but also in my day trip to Sarajevo. I had a great stay in Mostar, thank you.
located close to Old Town, only 5min walk away, has a grocery store around the corner to stock up at.
room was clean and roomy. kitchen is handy to make breakfast and coffee in.
the host, Djeno was super helpful, providing brochures about Mostar and Bosnia, he also came and picked me up at 6am to take me to the bus station because it was raining, I was so grateful. was gifted a beautiful handmade soap from his wife. was very well looked after here.
It is is located very close to the old town and the Old Mostar Bridge. It’s really easily accessible by car and has ample carparks spaces at the back of the hotel. The breakfast is complete with sweet and savory; the decor is characteristic with traditional objects that recall the life of the past; convenient and central to turn the historic part on foot; it’s good value for money. Plus the stuff is so friendly!
A hidden gem in the middle of Mostar city. This unique place has a style all its own. Great location & very comfy apartment that we found for last minute booking. Top notch hospitality from the owner.
