A super friendly, English speaking lady checked me in. A large and beautifully build hotel, in a pretty mountain top village. It has rightfully a rustic feel to it and immaculately maintained. My room was wonderful, large, bright and super clean. The large size balcony overlooking the endless green fields and snow peaked mountains was fabulous.
I later found that the lady who checked me in, is the younger generation of this family-run-and-created hotel. She tirelessly answered all my questions and suggested a fantastic pizzeria for dinner. There is also a very nice cafe, just down the hill from the hotel.

Wonderful views and lovely grounds, with authentic antiquity furnishings tastefully chosen and well-placed. We appreciated the close proximity to Isola and we enjoyed talking with the hosts, who graciously went above & beyond for us.

In the end, it's all about expectations. The residence is suitable for families with children, located above a Tiger supermarket and close to a main road, not exactly what we expected. The residence owners, an elderly couple, tried to make our stay pleasant, but it didn't work so much for us.

It may have been the best place we have ever booked. The family went beyond anything we experienced before. Dad, Mom, Grandpa, Grandma and of course the kinder were really enjoyable, fun to talk to, and we were treated like we were family. We had dinner with the family our last night and treated to incredible homemade pizza, dessert, and liquors. They really made it special.
Location was great, the property was outstanding , everything in the apartment was perfect. It has an incredible backyard/garden area to relax, eat, and enjoy an fantastic view of the Gran Sasso. Highly recommend

This place is unique (it’s an authentic Italian experience). The woman who owns it is absolutely amazing and a fantastic host. I would stay here again just for the privilege to speak with her. She made us a homemade apple cake for breakfast, amongst much more, and our room had a huge deck that overlooked the mountains.
I felt very comfortable and welcome. Next time we come will be with a larger group.
