The rooms are immaculate and nicely furnished with exposed wood beams and french windows, and both the room and our private patio were comfortable with grand views. The hotel has a beautiful forever pool, and bar, and in the morning puts out a fine breakfast spread featuring a broad array of Cretan delicacies, we thought a good value (a charge was incurred for this.) Myrthios is known for several excellent restaurants which did not disappoint, and is an excellent base to exploring the southern Cretan coast around Plakias, which is an easy one mile hike down the hill. Our host Bellisario(sp?) was most helpful in everything including excursion ideas.

The location was within easy walking distance to the beach, restaurants, markets and other shopping. Having access to a designated parking lot was awesome. The room was clean with a comfortable bed, bedding and pillows. Breakfast was available onsite and had a good variety of offerings with a nice inner courtyard to enjoy breakfast in peace and quiet. We enjoyed exploring the area for hiking and snorkeling.

We could not have chosen a better location for our honeymoon! The hotel itself is fantastic, clean, modern, beautiful aesthetics, thoughtfully chosen products, you can tell they put a lot of thought and heart into it! The staff was so sweet and decorated our room with balloons and flower petals and gifted us a complimentary bottle of wine and some small appetizers upon our arrival. The breakfast was fantastic! We loved having the option to choose what we wanted, and it was delivered to our room every morning so we could enjoy it out on the balcony. The location was perfect for us - Plakias is such a beautiful and laid back town, fantastic restaurants and beautiful beaches around! Not too crowded but has everything you need. The service was the cherry on top! It was so nice to be greeted every morning by the staff in the morning when they bring up breakfast and chat about our plans for the day. We received so many excellent recommendations and suggestions from them, ranging from best restaurants, beaches, hikes, and more. They were so friendly and warm, we were always greeted with a smile whenever we came back and asked about our day and what we did.
