Great house on the bike path
Loved the house. Everything was decorated so nicely with antiques and new stuff mixed together. Loved the front porch. When we did eat at the house, that was where we would sit. Loved the little shed out back. Marissa has an extensive CD collection out there with a nice CD player. There’s also a nice garden to sit in right by the shed. The house was also located directly next to the bike trail. Was a nice thing for our adult son to go biking into Traverse while my husband and I enjoyed some wineries. Had a great stay. House is situated in the middle of everything we like to do; wineries, Cherry Republic, tubing down Platte River.... Love everything about Michigan!

Perfect
The house was exactly what was pictured and perfect for what we needed! It was a great getaway for my family where we were able to relax in a comforting home with beautiful scenery. The house was also very clean and well equipped. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone who is looking into visiting the area.

Beautiful and super clean property!
We stay at several vrbo's a year, and to date this is the cleanest, most well stocked one we have been to ( there was even contact solution, bug spray, marshmallows and fresh flowers throughout, plus lot of shampoo and showering supplies). There is a nice firepit out back with some lights around it (we were not lucky enough to find the plug though) and a little house nearby the firepit containing music and blankets and such. We bought some firewood, set up our badminton set and had a nice evening in the yard. There is a cute garden that my husband enjoyed sitting on the bench and having lunch at. This house has a lot of adorable sitting spaces, the outdoor porch would be nice if you are there when it is not the middle of summer heat. The kitchen is so well stocked, and there is a nice weber grill out back, so you have plenty of choices if you want to eat in, with plenty of seats at the table, and extra bar stools as well. The sleeping accommodations were comfortable, and the fresh flowers there cute as well. The location next to the bike path is sweet, we used it daily for jogging and biking, and riding to town is very doable. You will hear some traffic sound as you are on a road that leads to town, but it did not bother our group. Our only suggestions would be to provide more towels, and maybe some fans for the upstairs as the air conditioning struggles to work its way up if you are there when it is very hot like we were. There also was an abundance of ants which I am sure they will get on. All in all though, loved this spot, and how clean and well stocked it was. If you need eating ideas, the Filling Station has great pizza, beer and salads. The Apache Trout Grill is nearby , on the water, and has good food - go early or late. We went at 8:30 and only waited 10 minutes and food was delivered super fast. Gallagher's has great cherry products ( chocolate covered, salsa's, cinnamon rolls, etc).

Perfect, charming getaway
Great spot directly on the TArt trail, and close to vineyards and downtown traverse city. The house is adorable and had everything we needed for a family of four, including a fire pit and s’mores!

Unreal
My wife is an interior designer and from the moment we stepped foot inside she was in love. We have stayed at dozens of homes but this one by far takes the cake. Unbelievable. Thank you Marissa!

Why they chose this property

Lovely farm setting with historic roots tied to the region along the former railway now TART trail.

What makes this property unique

Farmhouse unlike any other. The location of this home is close enough to Traverse City's full range of amenities yet feels as though you are living in the country. Beautiful setting with a myriad of things to do. 5 miles to the beaches of Traverse City, 1 mile to the closest winery and a 30 minute drive to the Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes.
