Was here this past summer. We are going to try and rent again in spring of 25 for another trip to Washington. Let me first say the place was so clean, dish’s, towels and bedding. It was a perfect base camp for checking out the coast. Come back dirty from back packing and fishing just toss your clothing in the wash! So much better than staying at a motel. The owner was great, very friendly and quick to respond. I can’t recommend enough!
Another great stay at Nick & Sherri’s cabin on the Sol Duc. I have stayed here a few times now and it never disappoints. Romantic getaways with the wife are my favorite here. With the queen size hide a bed it’s great for a trip to fish with a buddy as well. With the barn doors separating the bed room and living room it’s all the privacy we need. Thank you for your welcoming treatment as well! Thx - Rich
Very clean, well stocked— in fact, very pleased with the coffee, cocoa, and bath amenities. Wonderfully comfortable.
Could use a touch more information on how to use the water filter. We saw that the lever had been forced by folks turning it the wrong way.
The cabin was a great stay for our trip to Olympic National Park. The cabin was so cute, clean and relaxing. Easy check-in, lots of parking, convenient to get to town and the west side of the national park (hoh rainforest and beaches). Fully stocked kitchen, comfy bed and living room.

About the host
Hosted by Nick & Sheri Larson
My wife and I have both lived in the area for over thirty years and we still love it here in spite of all the rain. We have a large family with six adult children and eleven grandkids. There is never a dull moment around the Larson house.
Why they chose this property
We lived across the highway from this cabin over twenty years ago and rented a small cottage that is no longer standing. During the summer months we can walk downstream to the next river bar where we used to roast hotdogs and marshmallows with our kids over twenty years ago. One family of our old neighbors still live there.
What makes this property unique
We can see the Sol Duc river flowing by without going outside. There is a beautiful view of the river from the living room window and the kitchen window as well.
