Clear Lake Winter Getaway

Perfect location for a weekend winter getaway to Clear Lake! The location is excellent. Cabin is modern, comfortable and clean. The outdoor space is outstanding. The hot tub is a welcome retreat from the cold. 10 out of 10 would stay here again.

Beautiful and comfortable

We loved our stay here! Owners were super responsive. The house is gorgeous. The location is great for exploring the park, although there is a little traffic noise at times. Kitchen was easy to cook in (knives could use a sharpening if you plan to do a lot of chopping). I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

VRBO Cleaning Fees

I might be done with renting from VRBO which charges cleaning fees as I expect the rental to be cleaned BEFORE I arrive and not just pay for it to be cleaned when I leave. Here are my suggestions for improvement: - Remove spiders under bathroom cabinet and in bedroom as one was killed by my husband on the bed when we woke up - Clean out black gunk in the rim of washing machine - Kitchen sink needs cleaning (those 90 degree corners don’t clean themselves) - Bathroom sink - clean around/under rim please - Itched all night 1st night so put sheets in washer on rinse and spin (without detergent) and it still filled with soap. (Maybe use a gentle Free & Clear detergent?)

Wonderful Getaway

Cabin was beautiful, well kept, luxurious bathroom and comfortable beds! The kitchen had a lot of necessities I didn’t anticipate to be available and they had cards against humanity which was a bonus. Hot tub and fire pit were a nice touch which made our weekend with the cold/rainy weather we had! Price point can’t get much better for these amenities and being in riding mountain. My only comment would be having to drive into town but it would be easy to bike in in if you were to bring them. Thank you for the great stay!
