Fantastic dog beac. Abundant wildlife and native tree species that are very old and untoched by deve
Comfortable house on quiet street The enclosed verandah with bbq a definate bonus area for relaxing or eating. My great dane x was able to stretch out and keep an eye on the food without being under our feet. Very well stocked kitchen. Close to barge, ferries and dog beach. A great base to explore the island
We loved our stay on Coochie, this great little beach house was perfectly positioned for us to walk to everything - beach, cafe, golf club, and the Sunday market. We enjoyed views of the bush and the curlews out the front of the house, the screened in porch so we could sit outside without worrying about pesky bugs, and the secure yard for our dog. My teenage son and I enjoyed the x-box games together on our down time from exploring the island too! Great for a relaxing weekend break from the city.

Great Holiday Home
We really enjoyed our stay in this house. There wasn’t anything that the house didn’t accomodate. The kitchen was big with plenty of utensils and appliances. The house was spacious and clean. Even games to play. A good strong enclosure for our two big dogs. We would definitely recommend to everyone with a dog and be back for another stay.

Wife used to work as PE teacher at Victoria Point School and brought kids to Coochie for excursions to see the educational sights and nature walk through wetlands and to Red Rock where the island got is name.
We had three kids and brought them here and loved it so we decided to buy a home.

Why they chose this property

Liked Coochie so much with the easy access from Brisbane by car we can be unpacked and on the beach in one hour. Ferry and bus service are synchronised if you don't travel by car. The house is just far enough away from the party zone during holiday season to be able to relax but close enough to easily walk to beaches. This island and home with the extra block next door was the place to buy as our retirement place... our castle with a moat around it!

What makes this property unique

Coochie has the choice of three beaches North, South and East to get out of the wind.
House has outdoor shower with direct access to indoor en-suite and laundry wet area with fridge. The bird life is extraordinary and awesome to relax with a never to be built out view across road to nature reserve. Concrete street with no gutters is a unique bonus for parking large boat or kids to skate and scooter. Space to play or turn boat around on the paddock next door.
