Fabulous accommodation in a great location
The Shepard’s Hut was very cosy and well equipped for 2 people. The host - Mark was very friendly and welcoming and knowledgeable about local places to eat and drink etc. Accommodation was a 2 minute walk away from the town centre / castle. I would most definitely stay here again.

Shepherd Hut power !
This was an amazing place to stay. So well looked after and the shepherd hut whilst close by feels cozily remote. Best nights sleep of my adult life lol. I was fully restored the next day which was handy because I was house hunting :)

There’s a first time for everything
On arrival we received a warm welcome from Mark the owner, he was feeding his chickens that live in the field with the sheep which set the scene. Staying in a Shepherd’s Hut was a first for us. It was portrayed well in the photos but it was actually cuter in reality & bigger than anticipated. We had everything we needed in the hut plus more with the addition of the gorgeous handmade sheep quilt on the bed It was a fabulous first time experience for us. Thanks for a lovely mid week break

Lovely & cosy, great location, lovely garden position.
12/09/23 3 Night Stay. Good Communication from Mark . Great location close to the centre of town, but far enough away to be peaceful. Lovely garden to sit and enjoy an early morning cuppa. Nice walk to Skipton moor straight out the back garden gate, which had stunning views over Skipton town and over the Dales beyond. Lovely walks through Skipton woods, so peaceful. The Castle is well worth a visit. Plenty of cafes and other places to eat. Castle Inn served good meals with big hearty portions.
