About this property

One of two beautifully renovated Coastguard Cottages completed in July 2017 to a high standard. Situated within a stones throw of Southbourne Beach with panoramic sea views from all bedrooms.

Each Cottage has 2 double bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has either a king size bed or twin beds, stunning sea and garden views and en-suite shower room.

Bedroom 2 is on the 2nd floor with double bed and stunning panoramic views from Old Harry Rocks to The Needles & Isle of Wright.

There is also a family bathroom with overhead shower.

Downstairs there is a large open plan living area, with large sofabed, dining for 6 and fully integrated kitchen with, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, oven/hob, microwave & toaster. There is also a utility area with washer/dryer.

The front of the property has beautifully designed gardens which are now fully enclosed, decking with seating, a hot tub and off road parking. The rear of the Cottage has another decked area which catches the evening sun, along with BBQ area, bike storage etc.

The Cottages are a short walk to Hengistbury Head with its visitors centre and land train to Mudeford Spit, a lovely day out for the family. Historic Christchurch is very close by with its Ancient Priory, Castle, river walks, Quay with Quamps Splash Park for the little ones (free), boat & ferry rides and abundance of restaurants, bars & shops.

Southbourne is a short walk away with shops, supermarkets, restaurants & bars. Also we have The New Forest 10 minutes away with its beautiful villages, county pubs, New Forest Ponies and wild donkeys.

Bournemouth Town Centre is a 10 minute drive.

We will provide everything you need for your holiday, from towels & beach towels, to high chairs and travel cots.

Perfect place for a small family

This beautifully and thoughtfully renovated terraced cottage was perfect for our week long stay with two small children. The beach was an easy walk for a 4- and 6-year. There is a small fenced lawn for the kids to play and a patio for parents to relax. Kid's bedroom is on the second floor with split single beds. Double bed for parents is in the converted attic space - a heads-up (or rather heads down) for tall people. A small backyard has a grill and there's off-street parking. On-demand TV and board games for that rainy afternoon. Being in a terrace you have shared walls either side, but we never heard our neighbors. Pictures in the ad were representative. Landlord is next door and was highly responsive to enquiries before our stay, but never intrusive during it. He was very pleasant and welcoming. Would stay here again without hesitation. Perfect. Perfect. Perfect.

modern, clean, well located cottage

we very much enjoyed seaside cottage. it is very well equipped, tastefully decorated and landscaped. beds are comfortable. for me, the steep stairs were an issue because of my back problems, but the others in the family did not find them difficult. in general a pleasing place to return to.

New, modern & clean!

The property is very well maintained. Damian was there to greet us and was very friendly. He made sure we toured the place to ensure it was to our liking. Very quite area and nice neighborhood. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone visiting Bournemouth.

Lovely cottage, great location

Lovely cosy cottage, well equipped and comfortable, great for dogs too with enclosed garden and yards from the beach. Only minor gripe is that more care could have been taken with cleaning. Many cobwebs upstairs and too much evidence of the previous visitors who clearly had a very hairy white dog!
