The Cushing Cottage is on a 17-acre private property three miles from the Battlefield and four miles from downtown Gettysburg, providing a beautiful, peaceful setting for your relaxing get-away. Cottage has screened porch to enjoy solitude for everything from your morning coffee to your evening recollections of time spent on the battlefield, downtown stroll, or at the many special events in Gettysburg, such as the Reenactment, Remembrance Day, and the Bluegrass Festival.

Perfect setting in Gettysburg

We stayed while exploring Gettysburg for a few days and having a space out in the country to go back to was perfect. The hosts were very friendly and the farm setting with turkeys, bunnies etc was great. Cute cottage and nice touches by the host that made us feel very welcome! We woild recommend to anyone visiting the area.

One of a kind stay

This place is great. A nice A frame cottage with all you need. Very clean. We were greeted by 3 beautiful turkeys. Chickens bunnies, geese and cats also roaming the grounds. Less than 10 minutes from the battlegrounds. Would definitely stay here again.

Idyllic cottage in Gettysburg

Our stay at the cottage was beyond our expectations. We travel to Gettysburg quite often to see our daughter who is a college student there and plays a sport so we are in Gettysburg a lot. This cottage waw so clean and adorable. The farm animals greeted us each morning and our hosts left us food for then. The cottage was stocked with lovely sheets and towels and snacks We can’t wait to come back.

Amazing Stay

There wasn’t anything about this place that isn’t perfect ! The cottage itself is clean , cute & has everything you need . The hosts are the perfect amount of available if you need them & leave you alone to enjoy your vacation . The animals are the icing on the cake .

This is a guest cottages property that was owned by Chris's mother, Nancy Rice, who ran a B&B and then the cottages for 30 years in Gettysburg. It is a much loved home and cottages.
