The space accommodates two with 1 Queen Bed, a dresser and bath with walk-in shower. Includes HDTV/DirecTV, WiFi, a coffee bar and outdoor seating area. The neighborhood is within walking distance to the Hot Springs, the beautiful San Juan River and many of Pagosa Springs' best restaurants.

Perfect for our spring break ski vacation

We enjoyed our stay so much! We travel to Pagosa frequently. Our usual place was not available and I am so glad I found this cozy room. The listing is very accurate. It is a bedroom with a nice bathroom and limited kitchen/cooking options. It was perfect for us because we ski all day, then stop in town for a bite and go to bed as soon as we get to our rental. Read the listing carefully and you won’t be disappointed. The place was clean, stocked with essentials. The location can’t be beat! I appreciated very much the quick response from Linda every time I asked a question. Would gladly stay there again!

Yes, Very Cozy & Clean! But fan was a bit loud & it's up a hill.

This is a tiny place, like a very small apartment, with a convenient location in about the middle of town. Yes, you can walk easily to the Hippy Hot Springs & others (great!) Note that the location is up a hill, so if you are not able to walk up hills at high altitude, or if its winter, you may need a car/ride to get back to the house. The sunrise view was nice outside, looking down onto the main road into town in the distance, but we could still hear all the big trucks using their jake-brakes. There's a microwave, coffeemaker & minifridge (w/small freezer). The rack in the door to hold cans was a finger-smashing conundrum & we found it easier to put them on the shelves. There were 2 full rolls of paper towels, coffee items, & utensils. The bathroom is about 1/3 of the space, with a nice heater, but not a lot of counter space. If you are the type to fill the counter, your items may slide into the sink. Also, we were staying 3 nights & found only one roll of toilet paper + ~30 sheets on the roll on the holder, which was just enough for us. I'm sure the host would have provided another roll if we asked. The main problem was the noise from the split fan's compressor - it was *ridiculously* loud when it was on (imagine a washing machine with an unbalanced spin cycle!!) & then a huge BANG on the wall when it turned off. Kept us up all first night until I just turned it off. The waterproof cover on the mattress = sweaty, poor sleep. Feather-filled bedding. But, it was *very clean!

We are two couples from New Mexico who have been long-time friends. All of us enjoy skiing, snowboarding, hiking, fishing and music festivals, making Pagosa Springs one of our favorite vacation destinations.

Why they chose this property

On a visit to the Four Corners Folk Festival in 2008 we came across this property for sale and fell in love with it. The location was perfect, the house was in good condition and we knew it had potential. Since then we've been working tirelessly to transform our place into the cozy, welcoming retreat it is today.
