About this property

Floataway Cottage is a pristine, incredibly elegant, four-level ocean view home with private plunge pool. The cottage is a three-minute walk to Olive Way Beach access on East Beach and is one of only a handful all wood boardwalks to the beach. Each Beach is the only beach on St. Simons that can be used during high and low tide.

The cottage features seven bedrooms, seven and a half baths, and sleeps 16.

A gated courtyard with grilling area and private plunge pool welcomes you to our home. Inside, a large foyer greets you and has elevator service to all four levels. The second floor has four bedrooms and a casual living area with a workspace and desk that seats two. The third floor features a spacious great room, well-equipped kitchen, and a dining room that can accommodate 16. A large balcony is off the dining room. The first of three master suites is on this floor.

The fourth floor completes the home with two additional master suites, one which looks over the ocean and has a private balcony. A morning bar and keeping room separate the two suites. The surprise of the home is a large roof deck which has stunning views of the Atlantic and features seating and dining for the entire family.

The lower level has a game room with a ping pong table and access to a garage.

The cottage has a total of seven bedrooms and seven and half baths. The 2nd Floor has four bedrooms, three with queen beds, and one with two twin beds. All have private bathrooms. The 3rd Floor has a master suite with two queen beds and a private bath. There is a half bath on this floor. The 4th Floor has two master suites, each with king beds and private baths. All of the master baths have separate showers and tubs.

The entire house has wi-fi, each living area has a television with dvd players and six of seven bedrooms have televisions. There is a whole house audio system with speakers on all floors including the roof deck.

There are two laundry rooms, one on the second floor and one on the fourth floor. The plunge pool can be heated for an additional fee. Bikes, beach chairs, and beach towels are provided for your use.

Awesome House

12 Friends over 65 had a super time in Saint Simons. This house is just wonderful. The rooftop deck, the ensuite bedrooms, the organization of the kitchen(a label for everything), and the beauty of the decor, and the location were just great. We have already booked another stay we enjoyed it so much!

Beautiful Home

The property proved to be better than the pictures. High end finishes, beautifully appointed, wonderfully stocked. Perfect location to East End beach. Paul was super accessible. We had a refrigerator issue upon arrival but in 3 hours on a Saturday afternoon we had a new fridge!! He can work magic. Highly recommend Floataway for your SSI stay

Premier Property

No detail is left to chance at this property. The ground floor includes an outdoor, small lap pool and grill as well as an indoor ping pong table, a dozen beach towels, and a wide wheel beach utility cart for taking gear to and from the beach, a short walk away. All seven bedrooms include television sets and private bathrooms. The main level includes not only a well-supplied kitchen with generous kitchen equipment (such as a griddle, a coffee maker, an electric kettle, a blender, pots, pans, and bowls) but also an open concept eating area and sitting area. Both the second and fourth levels boast a washer and a dryer. An elevator services all four levels. Families and friends cement their best memories at this home.
