Not worth the $$$$
1. Property stated someone would greet us, this did not happen. We had issues getting into the house. 2. After entry 2hours later two separate parties attempted to enter the house. 3. Air conditioning was inconsistent- hot in the evenings; we did not have access to the thermostat. 4. Foul smell in bathroom: sulfur gas smell 5. No toaster in kitchen 6. Neighborhood -street very loud as a bar is next to the townhouse. Loud arguments fights at 2am in the morning 7. Loud overall with traffic: cars, sirens, people

Beautiful property in great location near Logan Circle
My brother and I stayed here on a recent visit to DC, and it was a perfect home base! It's within walking distance of all the major sites, and there were plenty of great restaurants nearby (as well as multiple convenient grocery stores). The property was well-stocked with plenty of towels, dishes, coffee, and other essential items, and the owner couldn't have been more friendly and responsive to our questions. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect location
Advertised sleeps 8 but only 3 beds. When I asked about this before paying I was told they would provide a two queen air mattresses. This would work for our grandchildren. Then right before our trip I was told I needed to pay $20 each night per air mattress. I reminded them of my earlier email and had to converse several times but got this resolved by offering to remove sheets off air mattresses. The site also advertised a washer and dryer so we only took a few clothes that we could wash and dry since we were flying. Upon arrival there was no washer and dryer available to us. In addition there was 1 towel and 1 wash cloth per guest for 6 nights. Yuck!! I questioned about the washer and dryer and was told it was only for guests staying 5 or more nights-not advertised. I had to tell them we were staying 6 nights. So we were told someone would come the following morning and leave a key. But that night about 10:30pm someone showed up at the front door, let their self in without any warning while 4 adults were in the room. We felt this was very inappropriate and they should’ve at least knocked or called us. The room temperature could never be adjusted without messaging someone. Several drawers in the kitchen were broken. We had to wash every dish we ate off of. There was even dried cereal in the bottom of the bowls. We are not nitpicking about anything. These are just some things that should have been handled. I could go one but the rest really didn’t bother us. The location was perfect! Especially if you have your own vehicle. But there are plenty of other options. We were easily able to have breakfast and at least one other meal there daily. This is a perfect place for a family like ours to have a place where we could all be together. All of our problems were corrected by the contacts I made except the entrance of a stranger at an odd hour. Also I did not bother to say anything about the broken drawers bc I figured they already knew if someone had cleaned it before us. As someone mentioned in another post it would be nice to have instructions posted so renters would know what was expected of them upon arrival and departure.
