About this property

Delaine Room - The Farmhouse Bed & Breakfast at Maple Bottom Farm

Maple Bottom Farm is owned by Vickie & Mike Baker and our children Lee & Clara. Our Farmhouse B&B is family operated with Vickie's mother, Susan Ansell.
The Delaine room features a king sized bed constructed by local craftsman from antique oak doors. The room is spacious with a sitting area, Smart TV, Wifi and an ensuite with subway tile shower. Guests can enjoy a farm-stay or agri-tourism activity including walking our sunflower fields in the summer. Our goal is to provide families with a relaxing experience in our updated Farmhouse. Breakfast is simple and features many items grown right here on the farm. We hope that you enjoy your stay with us. Our dairy consists of a DeLaval robotic milker and we process Golden Guernsey dairy products as part of Naturally Golden Family Farms, a group of local family farms working together to bring quality dairy products to our community. We use the freshest ingredients to prepare a hearty breakfast for our guests.
Guests can enjoy rocking on the porch or time in our pavilion which includes a firepit and propane grill. Hot dog sticks and complimentary marshmallows are available. You can also add a wine & cheese package that includes cheese made from our own Guernsey cows. We look forward to seeing you at Maple Bottom Farm. The best memories are made on the farm.
Maple Bottom Farm is located on a dead end road yet is close to nearby attractions including Fallingwater, Ohiopyle, Kentuck Knob and all that the Laurel Highlands region offers. We are an hour from Pittsburgh and minutes from Scottdale and Connellsville. The GAP bike trail is 3.5 miles from the farm.

In the Country
Beautiful surroundings. We enjoyed walking segments of the Great Allegheny Passage. Breakfast was beautifully hosted and delicious.

Living on a Farm
We had the most wonderful visit. From the moment I arrived, I knew I would not want to leave. Our hostess, Susan, was delightful to visit with. She made us a delicious country breakfast each morning of our stay. The atmosphere was serene. We sat on the front porch at night and watched the fireflies, and relaxed in the quiet. All-in-all, our visit was too short; we can't wait to go back for a longer stay.

Didn't stay
No one was in the house when we coded in. I tried, unsuccestfully, to change with Vbro from 1 gest to two for several days prior to our arrival. The place was messy, and sure didn't look like they were expecting guests. We decided that we(My wife and I decided that we wouldn't be comfortable staying there. We did not stay the night. I don't think we will be using VBRO in the future. I

Back to nature!
Maple bottom farm takes you away from the city and suburbia and gets you back to the sounds of the countryside- with some guernsey calf sounds for good measure. The B&B was welcoming and the breakfast was farm to table and a great way to start the day. The proximity to local wineries (Chapel Hill was great!) and Kentuck Knob made for a great weekend.

Birthday overnight stay
This place was amazing. From the spacious room, clean towels, your own mini fridge to the vhs movies that created the perfect throw back night in. The evening we got in, we were greeted by a staff member who was feeding the BABY calves ( so adorable). I was given the opportunity to bottle feed one which sent me over the moon. We were also surprised with some strawberry shortcake with a birthday candle to make the day extra special on top of an amazing breakfast. We also got to talk about the farm and all the amazing things maple farms is going. 10/10 would recommend abc if in the area again, we will be staying here. Thank you for such an amazing stay.
