About this property

★ Wild West Coast Getaway ★ Hot Tub ★ game room ★ Starlink ★ creek ★ in town ★

The luxurious and comfy home is located in a residential neighborhood in town. The grocery store is only a three minute drive away, restaurants, shops and a nice bar are close by. Four acres of land provide great privacy and room to play.
We have fast Internet (Starlink; Download 93 Mbps, upload 16 Mbps), so in case you have to work or need good internet for other reasons, you will be all set.
Relax in the hot tub on the back porch after a long day of hiking. Have a picnic or read a book at the private bubbling creek that flows right through the backyard. The local elk herd likes to hang out there, too, and if you are lucky, you can spot a bald eagle sitting in the trees!
The house is clean and fully stocked. The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing a home cooked meal. Use the Cuisinart griddler to make grilled cheese sandwiches, keep your kids busy with the indoor - S´mores maker or make waffles to go with your board game on a rainy afternoon.
Spend some time playing billiard, arcade games or table foosball, or shoot baskets at the pop-a-shot in the game room, or send your kids to play and take a nap ;o)
Have a barbeque on the back porch. It is so easy to relax sitting on one of the back porches (one is covered, one is for sunny days) and looking at nothing but lush green nature. Roast s'mores at the fire pit in the backyard (firewood is provided), relax with a glass of wine around the gas fire pit on the back porch or have a beer while gaming on the new Xbox.
The house features three bedrooms and two bathrooms, plus a half bath. The master bedroom with the en-suite-bathroom is strategically located on the opposite of the house than the other bedrooms for privacy. Have a good night of sleep with cozy blankets and lots of comfy pillows.
You will have two living areas, the great room with comfy couches, TV and Xbox or the cozy fireplace room where you can relax in front of the (electrical) fireplace, read or play games.
Feel free to use washer and dryer in the laundry room (with laundry pods and dryer sheets provided).
Our property manager lives close by so that help is available quickly in case of questions or problems.
Forks is a beautiful place and the easiest access point to the rainforests and the beaches of Olympic National Park.
If you are a fan of the Twilight saga by Stephenie Meyer, our house is located right across the street from Bella and Charlie Swan´s house (from the book). You can sit in our cozy reading chaise in front of the fireplace, read the Twilight book and see Bella´s house right through the window :o)

Absolutely Worth It!
We planned to be in Forks for just a couple of nights over Spring Break, with our full day there spent at the Hoh Rainforest and beaches - so I wasn't sure if splurging on a VRBO would be worth it compared to a less expensive motel/hotel. This place was SO WORTH IT! Clean, cozy and tasteful decor, great house layout, separate rooms for our family of 4, comfy beds, awesome game room, hot tub, quiet neighborhood, field view out the back windows and a little creek to walk down to -- I could go on and on! It ended up steadily raining on our planned day out so we were done sooner than we'd thought to be, and it was lovely to come back to a warm house and settle in to relax for the afternoon & evening with plenty to do so the day didn't seem like a loss due to weather. I actually wish we'd stayed another night just to be able to relax and spend time together puttering around the house! Highly recommend this property for anyone visiting Forks/Olympic National Park sites!

Beautiful area! Beautiful home!
We’ve stayed in a number of Vrbos over the past several years, and this was our favorite. The home had something for everyone. Even our teenage boys were sad to leave. Thanks to the homeowner and property manager for creating such a wonderful experience!

Wondeful Home
This is a lovely home to have as a home base when exploring the national park and beaches. The house was clean and had everything we needed including a lot of great information about the area. We would definitely recommend this property.

Excellent house, wonderfully appointed
We stayed in Forks to enjoy the Olympic National Park and walk some beaches. What a great home base! The house has everything you would need to cook (blender, toaster and coffee maker), the game room in the garage was fun for the entire family, and the hot tub was a wonderful way to end our night. Very comfortable, clean and a beautiful home. The host has thought of everything to accommodate people staying in the house. I am always wary of so many good reviews...but I can honestly say this place has earned them all.

Hi, nice to meet you :o)
We are a family of five and love the Pacific Northwest, especially Olympic National Park. We like hiking, taking long walks on the beaches and exploring the rainforests. We are thrilled when we see wildlife, whether it´s deer and elk, bears or whales. But we also enjoy the hot tub, books, board games, making S´mores and just relaxing at home. We live in Germany and don´t use the house for the most part of the year, so we offer it for guests to enjoy the wild Olympic Peninsula when we can´t be there ourselves. We hope you love Forks and Olympic National Park as much as we do!

Why they chose this property

We have a busy life at home in Germany, and we bet you are busy too, whereever you are from! What we love about our home is how calm and relaxed it makes us feel. We tried to make this home as warm and welcoming as possible and decorated it with the Pacific Northwest in mind. For example, we support local artists who work with reclaimed wood and bought some of the decoration from the Quileute tribe in La Push. For us, it truly is a home away from home and we hope it helps our guests to relax, recharge and make great memories.

What makes this property unique

After a long day of hiking, fishing or exploring you will come back to a clean, spacious and cozy home with lots of inviting spaces to sit and relax, whether it is indoor or outside on the front porch or on the two back porches. Play billiard, table foosball or arcade games in the game room on a rainy afternoon. We love to spend time at the creek that bubbles through our backyard. In summer, you can dangle your feet in the water and let your kids play with the frogs. If you are lucky, the local elk herd pays you a visit. You have all the privacy and peacefulness you need, but stores, restaurants and a bar are still less than a 5 minute drive away. It truly is the best of both worlds…
