The cabin was as advertised and our family enjoyed our short stay in the Timber Cove Cabin. Overall, we enjoyed the views, the small walk to the lakeshore and being centrally located on the lake. We would stay there again.
A couple of things that weren't the best, but were overcome-able:
First, despite there being a water filtration system, the water does have a slight sulfur smell and taste to it. We had no problem taking showers and what not, but drinking water out of the tap was a bit of a challenge. We ended up getting some bottled water to drink and that solved that issue.
Secondly, we knew coming in there was no internet, which we were prepared for, but cell phone reception is also very weak if not non-existent at the cabin. Which can be a good or bad thing depending on the purpose of your stay.
As mentioned above, none of this would stop us from staying there again, just keep those tips in mind if/when you decide to stay here. Safe travels!
