About this property

Antone Creek Lodge, Cabin #2

Antone Creek Lodge is a newly created park/campground featuring park models and tiny homes built by Rich Daniels and the crew of Rich's Portable Cabins of North Powder Oregon. Stay in cabins that made RPC Inc. a success for the last 20 years and a leader in the park model industry. This park is located on Rich and Lori Daniels' property along the Anthony Lakes Hwy. in the Elkhorn mountains, and just 10 miles from Anthony Lakes. Experience the wild and scenic clean water of Antone Creek- which runs just 50' from the cabins- and the sound of cascading water outside your cabin window. ACL currently has 4 cabins to choose from, and accommodations for 2-5 people depending on the model. The cabins are privately situated and are accessible to all age groups. Choose from two Classic Double Lofts, a Camp Cabin Studio or a NC loft with slides. All cabins are full featured and set up for comfort. Conveniently located as the closest accommodations to Anthony Lakes Mountain Resort, so you can stay in the snow or escape the heat of the valley. ACL borders national forest and is the starting point for great outdoor adventure.

This house called "NC loft" is an 8' wide tiny home with slides. Don't let the size deter you from enjoying this cabin because it still has all the conveniences of the larger cabins plus more. Full kitchen, 36" shower, large bathroom, washer/dryer, bedroom in the loft, and a futon couch in the living room that can be used for sleeping as well. This cabin has slides which gives a spacious living area. The stairs to the loft are 24" wide (see photos). This cabin is a favorite of Rich's because of its great location and creek views.

This was the perfect quick weekend away we needed. The location in the woods with the creek was calming. We will definitely be coming back.

MY ZEN RETREAT!
Myself & my son look forward to our visit each year. It brings me peace, such a great location; super clean and tidy. My son enjoys floating his boats and playing in the woods while mom gets to relax and watch him have fun doing his thing.

Perfect!
I can’t say enough: the location is perfect, amenities, convenience, comfort, all 5 stars. We are already planning our trip back for next year. We stayed at cabin 2. The kitchen was stocked with cooking utensils. The loft has a queen bed with room for a single sleeping pad if you want to fit 3 up there, or there is a futon downstairs. Cabin 2 was spotless (so clean!) and check in/out was very easy. The fire pit had wood waiting and ready and 2 lawn chairs for guest use.

Perfect Tucked Away Little Gem
My son & I stay a couple times a year for serenity. He loves playing with his boats and trucks in the creek, it's a nice little Escape. The big lake is up further and has a nice easy walking trail.

Rich and Lori Daniels are the owners of Rich's Portable Cabins Inc. in North Powder, Oregon. Rich and his crew have been building park model cabins since 1999.

Why they chose this property

This park was started as an idea roughly 20 yr. ago and through many attempts and political processes, the park was finally built and approved June 25th 2019. Yahoo! We feel blessed to have this property and want to share a slice of it with you! The building of this park began in 2006 when the Anthony Lakes Highway was improved and received help from the road building contractors who built the foundation for the placement of the cabins. It is a special location in that it is the last parcel suitable for this development type on the Anthony Lakes Highway, and gets you into the mountains for your stay. All times of the year are unique in their own way, with just 2 seasons (summer and winter) ha ha.

What makes this property unique

The NC loft was designed by Rich for a potential customer in North Carolina. Though the cabin was never built for this person, the design proved to be worthy of building. And after many versions of the model Rich feels this model is the best yet. This is an example of a true "tiny home" and is suitable for full time living!
