About this property

Situated on a quiet residential street just a short walk to the beach, restaurants and shopping, with all the feel of a lay-back beach house. There is a screened porch along the front and a great deck complete with palm trees in back. Many of the original details are still there, bead board walls, pine floors, even a claw foot tub. The kitchen is updated and very easy to work in. There are two bedrooms, one with a king and a twin and one with a queen. The fenced in backyard makes it an easy house for children or pets. There is off street parking and lots of room for bicycles and beach toys

With the ocean only a short walk away, its a great home to bring your beach toys, kayaks, fishing gear or just relax with a good book. Tybee Island offers many options for great beach fun. The Tybee Marine Center is an easy walk down the beach, go a little farther and you can be at the Historic Tybee Lighthouse and the Ft. Screvens Museum. The Tybee post Theatre is a good option for an evening of movies or live performances. The library and YMCA as well as the picnic park are just a short walk away. During the summer season you can go for a beach walk, check out the dolphins or sea turtles, go fishing off the big Atlantic pier or move around the corner to the back river pier. Kayaks, bicycles, golf carts and surf boards are all available for rent or bring your own. Enjoy Yoga on the beach or maybe set up and paint the wonderful scenes.

This is a great small home for an intimate get away for 2 or a friends and family vacation for up to 5. Come enjoy our Palm Trees and Island Breeze Cottage on Tybee!!

Tybee Cottage

This property is a charming, interesting, vintage Tybee cottage which I love. If you’re expecting large, luxurious, and modern, this is probably not the place for you. It was immaculately clean, and in a great and convenient location. The front screened porch and large back deck were perfect places to hang out with the family. And while we didn’t cook during our short stay, the kitchen seemed to be well equipped with everything you would need. Communications with the property manager was great. Checkin and checkout was super easy. I’d definitely stay again.
