Cold Smoke Mountain Lodge is a beautiful retreat in the heart of Big Sky. Located just a 5 min walk to Town Center, 15 min free shuttle to Big Sky Mountain Resort, and 50 min from Yellowstone National Park, the Cold Smoke Mountain Lodge is the perfect location for your next Montana adventure. Relax in our hot-tub overlooking the Spanish Peaks or put your feet-up on the front porch after enjoying the abundance of activities in Montana’s Big Sky Country. 8 comfy beds and linens that sleep 10, open living room/kitchen/dining area with gas fireplace and table that seats 8, kitchen bar seats 4, large open activity/TV room in basement, and radiant floor heating throughout.

- Bunk-room (4) with two sets of adult twin bunks (See Rental Agreement - guests agree to hold owners harmless for any damage, loss, or injuries arising from the use of the bunk beds)

Great location & bigger than expected!

We rented as a group of 9 friends/adults and I admittedly was a little worried it was going to be too cramped from the pictures online. When we got to the house, that was definitely not the case! The house was very big, all the rooms were spacious, (including the loft over the garage where I stayed) and there was plenty of parking. A note on the garage loft - we were also kind of worried the stairs were going to be hard to navigate but the loft was great! Stairs were wide and the loft area fit two adults no problem. The hosts were very responsive. We also liked being a 10-15 min walk from restaurants. We didn't take the shuttle to the resort but it was an easy 15 min drive. The only downside we ran into was there was a gross stain on one of the comforters in the loft but other than that, no complaints. We'd definitely stay here again and recommend!

Big Sky Montana family trip

All was good. The house was as advertised. Good value and close to town. The one hiccup at check-in was handled quickly. I would recommend the house to others.

This house was awesome! Plenty of space for our whole group and close to town.

Thank you Philip and Caitlyn for an amazing stay! We had a great time in Big Sky. The house was beautiful and very easy to get to from town. The shuttle to the mountain was free and easy to use. We are sad to leave!

Caitlyn grew-up in the Midwest and Philip on the East coast, but they have always been drawn to the mountains. Their first date was on a ski-slope and we have been lucky to travel the world hiking and skiing in beautiful places, but none are as special as Big Sky!
