Carlsbad Inn Beach Resort

DislikedSuper loud, house keeping super loud, upstairs guests super loud - was able to hear every foot steps (very loud stomping) from upstairs room guests constantly at night, (after 1am) could not sleep. House keeping forgot to reset alarm for the empty room next door and this incredibly loud alarm went off at around 6am for over 15 minutes so I had to directly get up and call front desk myself and inform them what was going on and they had to send someone down and fix the issue (and they didn’t even apologize, wow). Ridiculous, I paid over $500 for two nights stay and couldn’t even get 5 hours of good sleep. Never stayed in such a loud hotel before, will never stay here again or recommend. I’m embarrassed that my partner’s first hotel experience in California was this terrible.

LikedBreakfast was great, very large selection

LikedEverything was beautiful and exceptional. We loved the property and the convince of everything so close by. However, we did not have cable and internet kept cutting out in our room. Bathroom tub looks very rusty and not clean enough. The staff down at the gym area, werent very nice. Young girls with attitude. Other than that, the pool and property we enjoyed.

Likedlocation and parking

Dislikedthe bed; i do not have back problems but the bed was so bad i woke up early and could not remain in bed. Had to do stretches to help alleviate the pain. This is one thing they need to improve in hotel rooms and the Time share rooms. I am going to cancel my next reservation because we cannot sleep on these beds again This place is now affiliated with Hilton; Hilton have great beds. Get some of those!!!

LikedThe layout of the property is ideal in all regards. It is beautiful and accessible for all generations!

DislikedHonestly, there is nothing I would criticize. I was pleasantly surprised they had warned us about renovation issues – but there were none.
