Hotel Montecarlo was in an awesome location. Close to shops and restaurants. The hotel is a short walk away from the water bus which is very convenient. The staff was friendly and answered any questions we had. They also helped us bring our bags up to the room. The rooms were dated, but very clean and had everything you could need. The bed was very comfortable.

The room was very moldy. You can see black mold on the wallpapers throughout the room. The dark carpet also had many stains. The bathroom ceiling had mold. I couldn't stop sneezing. The location was central and convenient. Very busy area but in one of the narrower street. The front desk was not friendly but not all that helpful with guides. The included breakfast was ok. I would not stay at this motel again.

While we enjoyed our stay, it was very noisy at night. The air-conditioning was not operational at this time of year. So we had to try to sleep with open windows. 11:00pm our room got extremely noisy with something slamming and banging. Had to close the windows then it got hot and stuffy
