Cozy but overrated
We had to lug all our belongings from our car to the cabins in the pitch black darkness when we first got there. There were wagons to take your stuff to the cabin. There was no guide, just instructions from the desk. The cabin itself was clean and comfortable. We had two heaters in the cabin which was nice. There were big, cozy robes and big thick blankets. Everything looked new and up to date. It was nice but we paid nearly 1000$ to stay for two nights. It’s just overrated.

My husband and I stayed at Terramor for three nights in early October 2023. The leaves were all changing colors and it was our first ever experience glamping. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay - the comforts of the large bathroom and the bed but also the fact that we were still inside a tent with a wild meadow right outside the “door”. The surprisingly loud sound of acorns falling on the canvas roof all night long did take some getting used to, but we laughed about it a lot. Our time there was a wonderful experience that we would repeat again for sure. Lounging up in the lodge by the fireplace was a fun, relaxing thing to do at night. What beautiful photos and memories we have of this memorable place.

First Glamping Experience
Very nice glamping resort. We were there in late September and nights were getting cold. Heaters are small for the size of the tents. We camp a lot in September/October (Michigan) and know about cool nights. The lodge is great and the food was very good, no complaints. Due to the chill evenings the lodge was busy with couples and families playing games, of which there was a very good selection. That was pretty cool. Tents are set up very nicely my one comment is the shower was huge, two shower heads, and some of the shower space could have been used for additional storage space. Would i stay there again? Definitely. Location is great and we really had a nice time.

This experience well surpassed our expectations and was a great sanctuary to come back to after exploring Acadia and Bar Harbor. I highly recommend the experience. Every staff member surpassed the customer service we expect. Seriously such a great resort with a unique approach. Bravo👏👏👏

This was our first experience "glamping," and our was absolutely incredible! The tent was beautiful and the shower was massive. Gorgeous scenery near Acadia! Our own fire pit was great, too. The bed was very comfortable and we didn't get cold despite it being mid-October. If we go ban to this area, we'll definitely stay there!

Would have been good in the summer, but the tents are not warm enough for autumn and winter weather in Maine. The portable heaters are not sufficient. We had no appetite to use the outdoor pool given how cold it was. The main building is nice, with decent food and drink options. Staff are also very polite and helpful. The wider area is ok, with the National Park being the main attraction. Ultimately, I think the cost is far too high to stay in what is essentially a big tent. I’ve stayed in 5 star hotels that cost the same and provide a much better experience. For anyone that’s not aware, the tents are not lockable, so there is also a risk of people getting into your tent whilst you’re out. They open using a zip and there’s little to no security at the resort. A safe is provided, but you can hardly put all your belongings in a safe. Thankfully we had no issues with stuff being stolen.

The cabins were beautiful, well maintained, cozy, and clean. The space heaters kept it perfectly warm. We loved our personal firepit. We had trouble getting our fire started but the wood was too wet so someone was so nice and came by our campsite to help get a fire started. Everyone that worked there was friendly and willing to help. The lodge was cozy and had live music at night. There were board games and telescopes. There were yard games. We also used to pool and hot tub, both perfectly warm. This was my first time making drip coffee and it came out great. I was definitely recommend this place and will be coming back

Highly recommend if you haven’t tried Glamping. A bit pricey for the type of facility and amenities, but still a great experience. I would consider doing this again if discounted price were available. Location was 20 minutes from Bar Harbor and 15 from Acadia NP.

The property was beautifully maintained, and there were several very nice complimentary perks offered, from firewood for fires outside the tent to telescopes, walking sticks, etc. The tent was very clean, and the shower was amazing. Note - it is essentially fancy camping, so there are bugs, cold, etc., but the tent has heaters and blankets, so quite manageable, even in chilly October. If you’re a city person, and camping isn’t really your thing, this may be the solution for you. If you already love camping, this place will be absolute luxury. The staff are amazing, and the food was incredible. We didn’t get to enjoy the heated pool area, as we had not thought to bring swimsuits, but it looked wonderful, and we wished we could have enjoyed it. Wonderful place. Check it out!

Glamping As Expected
As far as glamping goes, everything was as expected. Was surprised to see how close the tents were next to each other; figured they would be more spread out so there was more privacy. There were also a lot of families with young children (for whatever reason, expected more couples). We were out almost all day hiking so rarely spent time on the campgrounds / in our tent. Breakfast could have been more, and it was nice there were quiet hours from 10am.

The location was great. The lodge was amazing. Breakfast was great with a good variety and tons of fresh fruit. Pool and hot tub were perfect and relaxing even in October. Our tent was a great size and included all the amenities of a regular hotel. The beds were very comfy and the shower was perfect. My husband loved having his own fir pit. Customer service, especially Jerme, was exceptional. I'm a total city girl and would stay at Terramore again without hesitation. The only thing I didn't like was the constant dampness on clothes, bedding, towels, floors. It isn't Terramore issue, but wanted to note for any future guests.

My girlfriends and I do an annual beginning of fall Bar Harbor trip, and usually stay at the Bar Harbor and right downtown. This year we were a little late to the game and had to look elsewhere for reservations. Terramore came up and we decided to give it a try. I am so glad that we did! What an awesome place! Our tent and accommodations were perfect. We loved our private fire pit and the ability to buy beer and wine on site to bring back to our tent. Main lodge is wonderful and cozy and the free breakfast is really good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed spending time in the hot tub and walking the property which makes you feel surrounded by the woods just like camping should. Will definitely be going back!
