Good people live here. We were snowed in however the manager of our hotel drove me to an appointment, and the doctor drove me back to the hotel. Even though Anacortes is a medium sized town, it has people who help as if you'd known them for a long time. It has a good small town feeling.

I've stayed in four different hotels in the past six years while passing through Anacortes. It's an interesting port town. It appears that the only big grocery store is the Safeway. Anthony's Seafood Restaurant has fabulous food and an equally stunning view, but you pay for it.

Anacortes is a nice town that provides access to the ferry to the San Juan Islands in the Samish Sea north of Seattle. Lots of restaurants, and we like the walk up to the top of Cap Sante Park, overlooking the harbor.

Anacortes is our favorite destination.
Anacortes is our favorite destination. We try to visit Anacortes yearly and have considered moving there. The whale watching with Island Adventures is the best we have ever seen. There is a relaxed laid back atmosphere to the whole town and ferry access is fantastic.
Mask natzies...but not for everyone. Had to prove my name by showing every card I own so my name would "match" and the girl checking me in giving me the statement "I'll let it go this time, but next time the name has to match EXACTLY how you reserve your room". I've never had anyone ever bring this up before. Stopping for the camera at the front desk every time. Felt like we were checking into something other than a hotel. What kind of people do they have stay there for that kind of "security" needed.
The staff were extremely welcoming while also being knowledgeable about the area and different things to do. They don't provide breakfast, but they do have a nice little snack, coffee, and tea station that is open during office hours that was such a nice little touch. The rooms themselves are spacious and comfortable and the location is right downtown close to all of the shops and Restaurants. It's certainly the best value for your stay in Anacortes, I highly recommend.
Room was clean and quiet. Liked having a refrigerator in the room and a separate bedroom from the living/dining/kitchen area. Location was convenient to restaurants, shopping and grocery stores. For a one-night stay before catching the ferry to the San Juan Islands, the hotel met my needs and was reasonably priced.
Really great property. Booked an upgraded room with a fireplace and kitchenette. Staff was so hospitable. Since I travel to Anacortes at least twice a year to visit family in Cap Sante I will definitely be back to stay!
Very pretty view .. newly remodeled it seems .. bright red roof .. quiet clean and pretty .. nice balcony and we slept well
Overnight z just outside of Anacortes town and near the ferry .
The hotel had a good location near the highway and downtown and it's a short drive to the ferry terminal. The kitchenette would be helpful for budget travelers cooking their own food.
Best place on Anacortes Island. Loved the experience. The owners are wonderful it felt just like home with a 5-star breakfast. Will definitely be returning for another trip.
the location of the hotel was great. We had supper there which was good as there was a promotion for meals and happy hour. The staff was courteous and treated us very well.
Incredible location in downtown Anacortes, unique, retro hotel with lots of amenities for a good value, and they are Covid-19 safe (they aired out the room for me)
The staff was great very nice not very good with directions on how to get to the hotel lol there is a great little restaurant next door with the best food also.
The breakfast was typical for this range of hotel. Location was good for being close to the Orcas Island ferry. That was the reason we chose this hotel.
