The Holy City
This holy city is located in western Saudi Arabia and is also known as Makkah. It is one of the Five Pillars of Islam to make a pilgrimage here, and therefore is a destination for millions of Muslims each year. Prophet Muhammad was born here and it is a sacred place for Muslims and the birthplace of Islam.
Non-muslims are not permitted into Mecca and the government of Saudi Arabia issues special visas for people making the pilgrimage. Most people coming to the Mecca will enter via the Hajj Terminal at King Abdulaziz International Airport and Jeddah is the gateway to the city.
The Hajj has a fairly set itinerary including a visit to the Sacred Mosque, al-Masjid al-Haram, built around the Kaaba. Mecca contains many restaurants with varied cuisine and tea shops are available for light refreshments such as traditional tea and cookies. I liked the trip.
I liked the trip. Hotel location is prime location and there service is very good.( Swissôtel Makkah) The only thing I can’t find kids entertainment or even near by Haram ( walking distance). The people selling in the street making more crowd while going to Haram or others asking for taxi ride. The virtual museum is good attraction. Especially for kids. Shopping is overpriced.

A beautiful city where you can work upon your soul. It's a very important city for Muslims specifically. The moment you enter the city, you'll get an emotional connection with the city. The moment you enter the Masjid Al Haram, you'll forget everything. Apart from that it also has historical places to visit in and around Makkah. The best place on earth.
The best place on earth. If you visit once, you will come again and again and again for sure. Lots of islamic historical sites and the center of the earth for Muslims. Easy to move via Taxi. Lots of frindly people. Lots of immigrant workers who love to help you any way they can. Just stay alert from the Pakistani Scammers. You may find them here and there. Mostly on the Masjid Al Haram. Do not help anyone if someone comes up with a story to tell. If they have a story to tell, they are scammers or frauds.
