I absolutely love this place!
Excellent location, staff, facilities and atmosphere. There are a large number of rooms spread out across the jungle property. I saw a white faced (capuchin) monkey and could hear the howler monkeys close by! There are three (or more?) pools on the property.
Selina is a chain of hotels (at least there is another one in Panama City) and they run their places so well. There is a welcome drink they provide at a set time so you meet others and they also have group activities, such as a free salsa dance class. Next to reception is the bar, and the place turns into a nightclub where many locals go to. My room was still quiet during those hours, so it was beat of both worlds.

What a terrific spot! We spent every morning watching the wildlife from the pool/patio area while having our coffee. The lush jungle spills right into the resort grounds. The menu at the restaurant is great (we had dinner several nights here), the complimentary breakfast is from the full menu, and the staff is extremely pleasant and helpful. Happy hour at the bar produces some excellent drinks at excellent prices. The staff here was also outstanding.
Our daughter's birthday was while we were there, and the staff left a note in our room and also made a point to bring her a candle in her breakfast haha.
Should we stay in Manuel Antonio again, this will absolutely be the spot.

We stayed at Mango Moon 2 years ago and loved it, so we decided to detour for a night on our way to San Jose after Drake bay. No regrets, it’s a lovely property! Amazing view, animals all around (Capuchin monkeys, macaws, toucans, the sound of howler monkeys) nice little pool, great breakfast, good staff (thank you Liliana, Gustavo, and the rest - and we had the pleasure of meeting Fran, the owner, who we really enjoyed talking to.) We had the Korean Barbecue for dinner which is cooked at your table, so good! We love Mango Moon - hope to return soon 😊

Beautiful national park and the amenities in the surrounding...
Beautiful national park and the amenities in the surrounding town are plenty. It was easy to walk around, although take notice of the traffic on the main road. It got pretty busy and fast sometimes. We stayed near our resort for meals within walking distance- El Wagon was a good family spot for dinner's not spent at our resort. We had an excellent lunch and cup of coffee at Emelio's Café. The town has plenty of grocery stores for any daily needs.
We only tried two beaches. Playa Bisanz had tricky parking and the guys watching cars honestly looked a bit sus. We did not stay there for long. Playa Manuel Antonio was absolutely beautiful. The park fee/ reservations keep it low key and it's well worth the visit and admission fee. The water was warm and the beach clean. Watch your belongings as the capuchin monkeys that bounce around are more than happy to raid your bag, as we witnessed happening to one of our fellow beachgoers.
If you're driving yourself to the park, take notice of the official parking. The locals are harmless but a bit aggressive with trying to get you to park in their lots so they can charge you. We got forced into a lot by a gentleman jumping into the road, then kicked out when we told them we didn't want a guided tour with them. We laughed it off, as we could have easily just driven around him. If you book your adventures with a company, they all offer transpiration.
That said, a guided tour with a reputable company (We did Jade Tours) for the national park is a must. We saw WAAAAY more than we would have on our own, including a sloth fight. Well worth the fee.
We also did a kayak/mangrove tour with Narcacosta and a guided horseback/waterfall tour with Brisas del Nara- I cannot say enough good things about either one of these organizations. Top tier experience, knowledgeable guides, and beautiful facilities.

I forgot to mention before about the assistance I got from the customer service representative ELISABETH. She helped me since the very begin of my reservation to the very end with great knowledge, efficiency and patience. I am I little challenged with the internet but she was right there for me, did not matter the time. We are all lucky for having her.

Good beaches.
Good beaches. Espadilla, even when crowded, is large enough that you can walk a little and get a fairly empty beach if you prefer. A car is a must-have if you plan to explore the town, but you're not missing much if you stay in a resort with beach and jungle access the whole time. The most expensive restaurants are good, all others are nothing special and just okay to not be hungry. You'll get better treatment as a foreigner because people expect tips, so definitely take advantage of that if you are one.

Mid-February is very hot and humid for this area - 90 degrees Fahrenheit everyday. We really enjoyed visiting the park and seeing rainforest wildlife, swimming at the beaches (watch out for strong rip tides!), and familiarizing ourselves with an area we had never been to before. Be ready to pay tourist prices (you are in a high tourism area - and it is so for a good reason), but if you can get an apartment with a kitchen, visiting the Quepos farmer's market and being able to make some of your own meals make this area more affordable. Glen's on the beach has the best chairs and his whole family is so kind and helpful. Going into the park for the first time with a guide is highly recommended, but so is going a second time on your own at your own pace. Get there first thing in the morning, because it heats up and gets busy after 9 AM. Eat at the Falafel Bar, like everyone says, because it is delicious (the smoothies are really refreshing). The public busy is easy to navigate, so use it and explore! Favorite activity in the area, other than the national park, was by far the Night Damas Mangrove Tour with Iguana Tours. Explore and have fun!

The room and bathroom was large and balcony overlooked the jungle, monkeys and birds came to the balcony everyday
The area is so lush with beautiful flowers and trees. The beach area and ocean was really nice. The way down to the beach was easily accessible, the path down has ropes on both sides to help.
Swimming pool was lovely surrounded by tables and umbrellas could have meals there if chosen. Excursions easily booked by agents and very informative.
This was the most incredible hotel we've experienced in Costa Rica!
The rooms are stunning, super clean and practical, down to the smallest details. The hotel's grounds are beautiful, especially with the lovely river-like swimming pool. Additionally, the location is ideal – close enough to all the restaurants while still being secluded enough to fully enjoy the solitude of the surrounding forest.
Additionally, the hotel owner has a wonderful personality and is extremely welcoming.
A beautiful hotel with a swimming pool and a large garden. The service is very nice. Ideal to leave the car Oh the parking and walk to the Manuel Antonio Park in the morning and to the beaches in the evening. The hotel also has its own 40-minute jungle trail. There is an excellent restaurant at the hotel. The welcome wine is a very nice gesture. We saw many monkeys, iguanas, birds and even frogs in the hotel garden. Highly recommended!
The location is up on the hill so there is a beatifull view of the ocean . The room was very comfort and have a beautifull view too. All we asked from the crew we got quickly with a smile, they were very nice and helpfull. We saw some tukans, monkeys, other birds...all in the area of the hotel. The infinity pool is very beatifull. The breakfast was good. There is free shuttle to the beach and close to Manuel Antonio Park.
La Posada is located close to the park, beach, store and restaurants. The people that run the hotel treat you like family. They anticipate what you need before asking. Rony is an incredible tour guide whose passion for Manuel Antonio Park will be contagious for the guests who explore this national park. Staying at a hotel is one thing but forming friendships and creating memories another
Small studio apartment but with spacious balcony, hammocks and an amazing view of the coast and sunsets, plus garden below with birds and other wildlife. Easy 5 minute walk down to great beach, or up the hill to the nearby restaurant.
Also lovely to have access to swimming pool after day on the beach or day in Manuel Antonio National Park (25 min walk away or 5 min drive)
The views were wonderful. With morning coffee or sunset cocktails, it was a perfect place to hang out. The location was a 5 minute walk to the prettiest beach in Manuel Antonio. Good restaurants were short walks away. The pool was great after a day on the beach. The rooms were clean and comfortable and having a kitchen was a big plus. Only 1 mile from the National Park.
This hotel is in a very convenient location with direct access to a small splendid beach. You can see monkeys in the pool and super funny sloths sleeping on the trees surrounding the property. The view is amazing! The room was very clean and there is also a pool in which you can relax after a morning at the beach or a tour at Manuel Antonio Park. Perfect for families!
One of our best stays in Costa rica! the staff was very helpful and friendly, as well the hotel manager. They helped as a lot, showed us around the hotel and helped with booking some activities in the area. Got a big room with forest view, was very clean and comfy. Very good location, a few minutes drive from the beach, city center and the national park. 10/10
The stuff was incredibly nice and eager to help. They were also ready to do an extra service for us (laundry - after one week in Costa Rica we really needed it).
The location, you don’t even need to go to any national park, cause you can see all the animals without leaving the hotel.
The place is still under construction, but it didn’t bother us at all
Price during off season was high but acceptable. The room was in good shape although it was not new. The pool was nice warm and huge. You can walk to Manuel Antonio national park, which is really convenient. Beach is also very close, of course the sand is dark and its not a carribean paradise kind of sea, but still very nice and very warm (october)
View, location very close to Manuel Antonio Park and to the very nice Beisanz beach with great snorkelling. Shuttle service for Manuel Antonio Town and park. Nice breakfast. Kind and supportive staff. Spacious room and comfortable beds. In short, everything you would expect from this kind of place and for the price you pay.
Location was great... Walkable distance from Espadilla Beach and Manuel Antonio National Park with supermarkets and eateries close by. Friendly staff. The swimming pool is small but a nice perk to have to splash around while drinking something from the swimming pool bar. Parking is available within the hotel.
We like the hotel very much after a long strenuous drive. The hotel is beautiful and the staff was warm and helpful. He made diner reservation for us right away. The famous Manuel Antonio National Park is right around the corner. The pool is inviting. The public beach is right behind. What not to like?
Highly recommend.☺️☺️ The owner is such a great person.
This hotel is behind Manuel Antonio Park 2min walking to the entrance.
So many good restaurants near.
The hotel has a nice swimming pool (warm water), you could see a lot of different birds on this area.
Public beach is 5min walking.
Location is right on the beach! We saw a sloth and lots of monkeys on the beach which was amazing. Room was pleasant, air con was great and the beds were really comfortable. The hotel is on a hill, so you have to get cabs everywhere as its difficult to walk to the restaurants.
Location was amazing! The hotel was right next to the Manuel Antonio national park entrance and the pool area was literally bordering the national park. We saw some animals in the hotel area (iguanas, frogs, monkeys and deers). Also the walk to the beach was max 5 minutes.
Friendly & helpful staff. Convenient restaurant/bar adjacent to property. Less than a mile from National Park (amazing flora, fauna, beaches ... . Hotel access to beautiful white sand beach. Great restaurants with spectacular Pacific sunsets!
Great pool area for families and adults. Breakfast was included and it was very good. Having the walkway to the beach was a great touch. The hotel is close to many restaurants and the National Park. Staff is friendly and helpful.
This hotel is all about the location. Right on an amazing beach. Walking distance to everything you need, including the national park. Perfect. The staff were amazing as well. Best value for money in Manuel antonio..
