I wanted to add to my previous comments that I loved the ambiance of the Hotel. I loved that it was historic yet updated. The lounge was comfortable and relaxing if you wanted somewhere cozy to sit inside. And there were nice comfortable chairs on the front porch as well We really enjoyed just sitting and relaxing in both areas. We met some very nice couples who stayed there and enjoyed talking with them as well.

First night in a B&B and probably the best experience so far. Susan and John the kindest host I've met. Sitting on the porch with a glass of wine, a delicious cookie, have a nice conversation with the other guests and enjoying the sun...what an experience!! Three courses breakfast was sooo good. Everything freshly cooked. I will come back soon.

We upgraded to a suite, plenty of room, 3 thermostats so never hot or cold in any part of the suite. Nice bar, nice pastry breakfast with huge pastries, fruit, yogurt, etc. Very friendly staff. Rooms renovated to modern fixtures, while the outside was 100+ years old. In the heart of the breweries too.

Because of the huge crowds we used the stairs quite often to avoid the long elevator waits. The stairwells are a little shabby compared to the rest of the hotel (obviously not a big deal, but carpet is worn, musty in spots, etc). Everything else was just perfect!
