A small town in the bottom of this gorgeous bay.
A small town in the bottom of this gorgeous bay. There is a small promenade along the beach. Lots of taverns and with small souvenir shops and several minimarkets. There is even a diving and boatrent centre, so lots of watersports.

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights in late August 2023 celebrating our 25th Anniversary and we were upgraded for free to a suite (Room 805). We chose the all-inclusive package which included all meals in buffet style, as well as draft beer, house cocktails, and wine. Name brand alcohol was available for a fee. Plenty of Greek food as well as options for picky eaters. 2 pools, but only the upper one has a bar for all-inclusive. The bar at the ocean level swimming area is not all-inclusive. There is a bus that runs round trip from the hotel to the center of Heraklion about every 1 1/2 hours. We would definitely stay here again!

Agia Pelagia is a great strip of beach compared to others we stayed at. Vibrant little town. Snorkeling is as good as it gets with those planks of seafloor, you'll gets crabs 10 or 15 species of fish and even octopi. Also for snorkeling do not miss Paliokastro next door, and beautiful beach.
My husband & I really enjoyed our stay at Seaside A Lifestyle Resort! It was our first stop on our trip to the cyclades, and I must say I was really happy to start off our vacation in Greece in such a relaxing, lovely resort! The food & drinks were all delicious, the staff extremely polite and helpful, and the rooms & property itself were clean & modern. Overall we had a great time & I would highly recommend Seaside A Lifestyle Resort to any friends and/or family traveling to Heraklion Crete.
Maria is the BEST HOST ever and so much caring!!! We have enjoyed our stay at Lenico villa and can highly recommend it. Very unique and private.
The house is directly located at the bay of Agia Pelagia with fantastic sea view. A very new and modern stand-alone villa with lots of space and atmosphere. Very lovely decoration - we were not missing anything. Supermarket(s) in 1 - 3 minutes away. Lots of restaurants with authentic Kreta dishes - very friendly and welcoming.
Perfect location to have a relaxing holiday with the family! Great pool area, very nice apartments (good equipment in the kitchen), reasonable prices for food and drinks, lovely beach just around the corner, mini market and lots of restaurants only a few steps away! Especially with small children (we stayed with a baby) very convenient! Staff is also helpful! We will definitely come back! If you want to see more than Agia Pelagia I guess you will need a car.
The accomodation is run by a local family, who also take care of cooking the food provided in the restaurant of the hotel. They are extremely welcoming and kind. We learned a few greek words and very interesting facts about Crete, its history and its culture. We also got very good recommendations about places to visit. We felt like home and Yanis and his family felt like friends for us so we're looking forward to go back!
The stuff is simply adorable! Bar tender, chef, receptionists and even Ladies who were cleaning the rooms - all of them were smiling, very polite and ready to help. I felt very po pleasant atmosphere during the stay thanks to them :)
Food was good but drinks at the bar - the best!
The location of the hotel is perfect - silence all around it, it is so calm and peaceful area, and 7-10 minutes walk to 2 nearest beaches.
The hotel Irida is a great location for relaxing time
It is close to the main city of Heraklion, but also offers a fantastic view
the staff is incredibly friendly, you’ll feel soon to be at your ease
the swimming pools (2) are both open all day
the breakfast has a good variety of fresh food
Lunch and dinner are the best! I haven’t found anything
better in Heraklion or other towns in the 100km surroundings
The location was good, the resort itself provides stunning views and the bottom access to the beach was great. DJ plays next to the beach with very good bar services. Boats and other activities are available for hire which gives you something to do. The island is large so be prepared to trave 1.5 hrs + to see other parts of the island. The city center is 40 min from the hotel.
We had a great stay at Thania Seaside Smotel! The location is excellent, right on the beach. The owner, Manolis, is a fantastic host and went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. The rooms are large, clean and well appointed. There are many great restaurants within a few minutes' walk. Breakfast was tasty and the breakfast patio has a lovely view of the bay.
Absolutely everything! The staff is just perfect. The breakfast food (which is included) is really good and there’s a big variety. The hotel facilities such as the gym and the spa are amazing! We booked a hammam experience and it truly was the best experience we ever had! The rooms are super clean as well! 10/10
One of the most charming places I've stayed in! in front of the sea. A wonderful location in Agia Pelagia. Laia The host and her grandmother who lives downstairs, are simply amazing. They made us feel at home. I highly recommend it to everyone who comes to vacation in Crete!
The apartment was great! Brand new furniture, super clean with the great location! Walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops.
Marios and Tatiana also helped us with the pick up and drop off from the airport.
We really enjoyed our stay and definitely will be back!
We liked the room, clean and nice, there was also a mini coffee machine. The food was delicious. The hotel was at a very good location, just 5 minutes walk from the beach. And the bus to Heraklion stops just outside the hotel. The staff is very nice, makes you feel special.
This hotel is Exquisite!! The most Beautiful views, amazing Staff (Shoutout to Sofia and Kosta), excellent Breakfast, pool is clean and nice, amazing food served all day at the Pool Restaurant... Beyond amazing!!!
Everything. The facilities and room were top notch. The service and hospitality were some of the best we have experienced. The on site food was some of the best we have had in all of Greece.
