This hotel exceeded my expectations, as I had read mixed reviews on here regarding some factors like cleanliness, spa facilities and food. We loved this hotel for many reasons: The location was fantastic situated up on a hillside with a beautiful 360 degree view. The hotel itself is a very charming and intimate boutique hotel with an artsy feel. Comfortable common space to sit and enjoy the views outside of your room or to have a cocktail from the bar. The view from our room was amazing, and we were able to see the Northern Lights from our room the night we stayed there. We loved the spa and wished we were able to spend more time there. They have beautiful thermal baths and inside/outside thermal pools in case of weather. We did not partake in the dinner the night we stayed, but the breakfast was one of the best we had on our trip. Wonderful dogs on the property that we really enjoyed having around.

It’s a perfect base for exploring the golden circle and the south coast. There is only 4.3 mi to Hveragerdi and Selfoss, cities with a wide range of shops and restaurants.

We didn't actually get chance to see much of Selfoss itself as we were using the apartment as a Base for other excursions, great for south coast & golden circle as long as you're comfortable driving a hire car.
We are looking forward to visiting again in the future & seeing even more!

The Town has grown since I visited 7 years ago.
The Town has grown since I visited 7 years ago. The town pool is a great spot to go and relax. There is a fabulous food court across the street from the Hotel Selfoss -- great spot for drinks and dinner. You can still get a good hot dog in the parking lot of the Hotel Selfoss. The town is well located to visit waterfalls, geysers, and thermal pools. I would return.

A friendly town - we stayed in the camper site which was great and then a return visit to stay in a hotel and we ate in the food hall which was nice with options and variety. We also did the Skyr tour in the basement of the food hall. I would add that a wider and more of the “taste” section would be nice.
It’s a central spot to come back to or travel from and back if that suits your travel plans.

Selfoss has a sweet, mostly walkable, growing center that includes an easy, level river-walk. We found enough variety in the food hall to keep us well-fed and happy with the choices over several days. (It was recommended to us by a rental car agent at KEF. She was rightly enthusiastic about the tacos - and just about everything was solid!) Selfoss is also a great location near the Southern Coast for easy, varied day-trips - everything from amazing waterfalls to black-sand beaches, from otherworldly volcanic deposits to hot-springs, craters, and more. With Selfoss as our lodging spot, we could have happily explored for several more days.

Nice quiet town with more than just the waterfall.
Nice quiet town with more than just the waterfall. Plenty of places to eat and shop. Þingvellir national park is nearby with great views, hiking and (of course) several waterfalls. The fall colors were out during our visit the last week of September and only last a few days.
Staff were very nice and accommodating. Rooms are large with very comfortable beds and beautiful bathrooms with showers. This was our last night in Iceland and it was great to have such a nice hotel to stay in. We were two couples traveling together. Although north rooms were wonderful, one of the rooms was a beautiful suite with sitting area and a balcony. Location is perfect for walking to shopping and restaurants. The breakfast was very nice with lots of selections including many warm options. We would highly recommend this hotel.
We liked the hotel a lot. The room was small but cosy, and the shared bathroom was clean. We liked the hot pools. The hosts are very friendly and offer a superb breakfast (not included, but the room's price without breakfast is cheaper than in other places, so it is worth it). The location is close to Selfoss, which is a great base to visit the Golden Circle. We recommend it and would definitely rebook.
It was really top!! Huge and comfy Appartment, warm and very stylish. We spent a few days there with the family.
Check in was uncomplicated, we felt welcome.
Selfoss is a great city from where you can go to so many different places worth seeing: lava-tunnel, hot springs, lava Museum, national park, see side, nice local restaurants...
And we enjoyed the time with the family in this Appartement.
Great hotel, friendly staff, parking included, clean and with a very good breakfast. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed a great nights sleep. We got upgraded to a bigger room upon arrival which we enjoyed as we were travelling with our son. As we only stayed one night we did not have time to try the hotel restaurant, as we already had plans to try the foodhall across the street.
It was great to have a "king" bed, even if it was two singles pushed together. Most places we found in Iceland had small beds, and it was comfortable. The bathroom was also large and had great pressure in the shower. It was nice having a restaurant downstairs, although we chose to walk to the nearby downtown establishments. It was nice to be close enough to walk.
Location, baths, style, amenities, facilities, restaurant, breakfast, staff, dogs (yes, they have two lovely dogs there)... everything is flawless.
So If you need a base to explore the Golden Circle and adjacent areas, this is the perfect place.
To sum up, 360 is my favourite hotel in Iceland, and I hope to be back soon. <3
We had a cosy chalet on this quiet holiday camping site. The chalet was equipped with a comfortable bed, shower room and toilet, a fridge, microwave and two-ring hob. There was also a hot tub to use. Selfoss is a lovely town near the attraction on Iceland’s Golden Circle - there’s a good supermarket and good restaurants
Loved the room, the staff and the restaurant. Breakfast was included with a great variety of local and continental options. The indoor and outdoor thermal spas were nice with territorial views. Super clean, comfortable and quiet. Dinners were fabulous.
The resident dogs were a nice bonus!
Outstanding! Great value for the $. Very clean. Located in cute countryside. You are not just limited to your room, many resting areas available. Well equipped and spacious kitchen. Hot tub is a nice bonus. Easy check in, owner sends a helpful email prior.
Lovely spacious studio apartment right in the centre of town, very walkable to nice restaurants, the river and the supermarket. It was nice to have our own space and a comfy couch with basic cooking facilities too.
Spacious, clean, homey. (Clearly someone's home at one point.) Central location in Selfoss meant we could walk to many restaurants and shopping (e.g. Kronan) A great base for exploring Golden Circle destinations.
the magic in the details at this place is outstanding! Every little thing is perfectly designed for comfort and space optimization while also beautifully designed. The owners passion is felt everywhere!!!
