Cathedral City is generally more affordable that other locations in the greater Palm Springs area. It easy to get to the I10 and to the shopping areas in Palm Desert. It is a little further from the downtown Palm Springs area but the drive is easy and has more than one option for routing that allows you to avoid traffic. Some areas have nice walking areas although that was pretty limited from the location we stayed at during our most recent trip.

It appears to be a pleasant city with the necessary ammenities for shoppers. If you are in the market for a new car, this is the place to be. There were several theatres, both movie and live, close by.

If you can't find lodging in Palm Desert or Palm Springs, you might have to settle for Cathedral City. However, there's not much to do there and the amenities are limited. Go to Indian Canyons for hiking.

The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, Moorten Botanical Gardens, Thousand Palms hiking path, and Ruth Hardy Park are all lovely attractions that keep us coming back in addition to the beautiful views. Driving around was very easy and shopping facilities were very good.

I liked that it was so close to the gas station and the strip mall with so many dining options.the pool area is large and didnt get crowded at all.the towels in the pool could have been stocked with more towels.a couple of times there wasnt any when I went down there. The breakfast was good with a decent variety to choose from and I like that the place was not in a real busy part of town.there are a few hikes nearby that we enjoyed and the staff was very friendly and accomodating.I was also given a 3hr early check in.

Cathedral City (aka Cat City) is between Rancho Mirage and Palm Springs. I picked this location of a Holiday Inn because the price seemed the most reasonable and affordable for us. It was along the road between Highways 10 and 111.
We loved the size of the 1 bdrm condo and all the amenities of our short 1 night stay. Having a small patio with a table and chairs was very nice. We enjoyed our location looking out to the pool and BBQ area. It was very quiet and lovely here. And we had a garage to put the car in! I liked having a good restaurant (in the golf club) within walking distance - across the street. We had our car which made it easy to get around the Palm Springs area from this location. A car is needed if you stay here.
This is a reasonably sized condo in Cathedral City. The place was mostly clean, . The kitchen had most of what you would need to cook breakfast or even a small dinner. Normal appliances. Three TVs but on the small side. Internet seemed adequate. There were extra towels provided for the pool. Having two well separated bedrooms was a plus. They provided soap, shampoo and conditioner but I would recommend you bring your own. There was an electric car charging station about a 100 meters away.
Great facility for a large group of friends to meet and hang out. One afternoon/evening about 15 of us were gathered in the large seating area near the lobby. We brought our own drinks and snacks and also purchased beer and wine from the little store onsite. As the evening approached, we could not agree on a place to have dinner, so we just stayed at the hotel and ordered pizzas. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. No one bothered us or asked us to leave.
The hotel was extremely clean and well-kept with plenty of staff onsite to assist. The room was very nice with modern decor and especially the bathroom was very modern and clean.
The breakfast buffet was nice and there is a strip mall next door with a great breakfast cafe and an excellent Indian restaurant, which was a great bonus to our stay!
I liked the location with regards to family staying within walking distance from hotel . The hot breakfast available every morning was convenient. I felt very comfortable security wise as I was a solo traveler. There was always hot water for shower, refrigerator and microwave was great to have in the room.
It was my first New year in US I been a lot of places in Europe and i can say That This Hotel will be 10 of my top i like it Very Clean and Stuff was So Polite Mostly Lobby personal His Name is Fernandes and hi was Sol Helpful and Polite even he call us to know how is room condition if we like that
Unfortunately we only had one night on our trip to spend in Palm Springs. For this, the general impression of the hotel was quite good, it is a bit off of the city center though and you totally need a car. We would have loved to stay longer and didn't have any chance to test the pool though.
It was close to Agua Caliente which I went to see Theresa Caputo at The Show which was great, but it was to expensive to spend the night there after the show. That is why I got two nights from this Best Western hotel which was half the cost of I night Agua Caliente!!
The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the housekeeping services were impressive. We're from Canada where most hotels have stopped offering regular housekeeping, so this was a bonus.
The room was clean and the hotel was quiet. The grounds were never super crowded, which is either a plus or a minus depending on how you look at it. The location is convenient and easy to locate off of the 111.
The room was clean and spacious, included a full kitchen, and had all the amenities. The nearby town of Palm Springs was <10 minutes drive. The hotel had a large pool that was semi-heated along with a hot tub.
It is a beautifully landscaped hotel complex. The apartments are either on the ground floor with a terrace or on the first floor. For the price you get what you need for an overnight stay.
I liked the location, it is in a nice area, driving distance to local stores, Starbucks, casinos, & 15 mins to downtown Palm Springs. Very spacious house, & they allow dogs!
The room provided everything I needed while my A/C unit was being replaced at home. I'm hoping to get credit with Hilton for all of the nights I spent at the hotel.
