A quiet coastal town with BIG beaches and BIG cafes... They were awesome. Sunrise is spectacular and you can enjoy the tanquil moment with a coffee and a book. So close to Byron Bay and the Gold Coast but far enough away to feel you are in your own little world. Clean and quiet. Lowrise units and residential properties so not overcrowded. Bike or walk to all areas of town.

We loved Kingscliff.
We loved Kingscliff. We had plenty to do within walking distance to the Main Street and beaches. The river too was a bonus. The park was great if you have children or just sit and enjoy the ocean view. People were very friendly and enjoyed the local Chiang Mai Thai restaurant. We also went to the Kingscliff hotel and local surf club. Picked up some bargains at the op shops.

Kingscliff is a lovely seaside town with almost a village feel, enough shops and restaurants and clubs for most, friendly people, a nice patrolled beach and the Cudgen creek if you don't like the surf. Close to Coolangatta and the Tweed if you need more people.

The proximity of facilities and shopping/restaurants right over the park from the hotel. Kingscliff is a lovely, relaxed beach village not harmed by high-rises and shopping malls. Great cafes, all the facilities you need with the benefit of a brilliant and not packed out beach.

It was disappointing to say the least.
It was disappointing to say the least. The whole complex is dirty and not well cared for. Parking is a nightmare, as our car just fitted into the parking garage provided. Key to garage door was useless, as it would not lock the garage door. The parking is so tight and directions to your room poor. On our key it said 014, so we looked for room 014 but it meant room 14. Whole complex requires a complete renovation. Not to have an apartment with Air-conditioning in peak summer holidays, made the stay unpleasant. We packed up and booked another accomm, which was clean, with aircon and free Wi-fi. We took photos of the filthy windows and screens, along with mirrors in rooms with hand prints on them and supplied shampoo bottles provided half to near empty in bathrooms. If I was Kingscliff accommodation staff, I would go and inspect the condition of these rooms as its substandard to what we have stayed in Kingscliff prior.

We've been to Salt heaps of times, either with the Mantra or Peppers.
Over the last 25 or so years we've stayed at Peppers around 5 times and the Mantra twice.
To be honest, we do prefer the Mantra as Peppers tends to be a bit cold when you're looking for your rooms. It's also bigger which is a surprise.
Mantra has a small feel about it and the pool has a better vibe.
Lifts are fast, heaps of games to use and absolutely no complaints there.
I discovered a game told by my grandson which is Cornhole.. It's a brilliant game and can be hired from reception, along with table tennis, tennis, chess (the wee nyaff beat me again) and others.
The receptionists are great with smiles on their dials.
We (2A + 2C) had a great stay at this apartment within the Mantra on Salt complex. The apartment was clean and well presented with everything needed for a week stay. Lovely big balcony overlooking the pine trees towards the beach with the shopping precinct below. I was worried about the potential noise but was pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was at night. The apartment is close to lifts to the pool and reception area and the resort facilities are great - we will be back!!
The room was extremely clean, lovely decorating and quite spacious and did not have the musty smell some hotels do. Loved being able to use the pool. Nice coffee and tea provided, with clean and newish plates etc. Beds, even the single one, very comfortable. Location great for what we did on day there. Also like being able to check in at whatever time is convenient using the key code. Highly recommend this hotel. Will use again next time in area.
Set in beautiful surroundings. Roomy cabin with aircon and tv in living and bedroom. WiFi also.
Owner welcomed us and then left us to our privacy.
The surrounds were inviting and well maintained. We didn’t use the kitchen facilities but they were adequate for a short stay. Living area was small but outside facilities such as private bbq and table made up for that. Stunning views. Close to Kingscliff and Pottsville. Will definitely go back there.
Pool area was nice and I loved that the bars and restaurants were accessible directly via the hotel. I messed up our booking and booked the wrong type of room and reception sorted it very quickly for us - all the staff were great. The Mexican Restaurant "La Barrita" at Salt Village was exceptional
The separated dwellings for kids and adults sleeping, plus multiple TV's so not all fighting over programing. The pool was beautiful and the kids loved it.
Kingscliffe itself is a beautiful location to get away, and most things only a 5 minture drive if not walkable.
The studio was spacious and light filled, thoughtfully curated for the amenities you want and need. Great location close to the beach and shops but removed enough to allow for a peaceful sleep.
I would definitely recommend it for a solo or couple visiting Kingscliff
the room was more of a small suite, spotlessly clean and very comfortably furnished with all the facilities we needed. there were multiple pools in the attractive gardens.
the restaurant is great but does not belong to the hotel.
We've stayed at Peppers before in a property run by the hotel. This was far more comfortable and the owners have really provided all the extras you need to have a very comfortable stay. We really enjoyed it all.
We liked the convenient location to everything at Kingscliff and surrounding areas. The off-street parking was handy and the 3-bedroom unit on Ground level (unit 106) was large and spacious.
The facilities were well maintained, the apartment was clean and the addition of a plunge pool was perfect. The location on the beachfront was perfect for early morning swims and walks.
Great location, lots of restaurants near by beach is only down the road but even if you find that’s to far away they have they’re own beach inside the hotel!
