Very quiet location, out of town aways. Enjoyed rocking on the porch and listening to the birds. It was nice to have a separate bedroom, more like a small apartment.

Convenient to our destination, peaceful & quiet. Village Studios is a plantation in a beautiful location in East Feliciana which was our hometown. It was a pleasant overnight stay. Thank you Gwen we enjoyed the basket of goodies & coffee before we left.
The problems with this hotel are TOO numerous to write in...
The problems with this hotel are TOO numerous to write in this little space! This is false advertising as far as we are concerned on booking.com. There are no pictures that even remotely depict the nasty and disgusting things about this hotel!!!!!! Would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy!!!!!!!!

Beautiful original city. Lots of interesting places to tour.
Beautiful original city. Lots of interesting places to tour. However more restraunt choices would have been better. Southern hospitality was as expected as I am from southern Louisiana. Getting from place to place was not difficult at all. Roast beef poboy from Magnolia Cafe wasn't quite the same as I expected it would be.

Beautiful historic little town.
Beautiful historic little town. More of a spot for older people or an older ladies weekend. Sightseeing and shopping is something for the 50 and older crowd. Defiantly try the food from Cafe Petra, I am not usually a fan of Mediterranean food but it was the only place that would deliver to the hotel and it was totally delicious (even the pizza place does not deliver)

Dinner and breakfast were excellent.
Dinner and breakfast were excellent. No need to leave the property. Security was excellent. The grounds were immaculate and fun to stroll. Greeting with a glass of champagne was classy. Easy to find. Coffee needs to be available before breakfast . Will stay there every chance I get.

Don’t recommend staying at Hotel Frances.
Don’t recommend staying at Hotel Frances. Electric fixtures weren’t all working , there was mold on the shower curtain and it was old and yellowed.
Special request for a purple iris and purple rose was never addressed after Booking.com said it wouldn’t be a problem and they could arrange it. It was a major let down as it was our anniversary.
Room service didn’t come unless you call and ask them to and then they still didn’t. My husband went and got towels for our second night. It was expensive but spend the extra and stay in the plantations. We went and toured the plantations and definitely would stay at one of them next time around. Won’t ever come back to Hotel Frances. Very disappointed

I love the Myrtles . It's my 4th time to visit the place but first time to stay overnight . The staff were friendly and very helpful . Me and my friends enjoyed the included guided tour of the main house , hanging out and drinking coffee at Elta Coffee and the delicious food during our dinner at the Restaurant 1796. I love the cottage that we stayed in ( caretaker Quarters ) . The decor is nice , beds and pillows are comfortable . We sure had a great time /stay .
The staff was friendly and willing to please the guests.
New mattress and updates of the property had begun.
The breakfast and free dinner were excellent.
Breakfast, tied the best, in our five state adventure.
Shannon was wonderful. She is the best host that we encountered.
The property sits on many acres with a small lake. There is fishing onsite.
What I did like was location would be ideal. And I also liked that when I finally got hold of someone the following day manager I believe they apologized for the inconvenience and offered to refund my money…
Without any hold backs…or cancellation fees usually associated with booking.com and some hotels..
There aren’t enough words to explain how WONDERFUL St. Francisville Inn is. This is my 3rd stay and every time I leave, I’m anxious to return!!! Love Jim and Brandon as well as their staff. So warm and inviting!!!!
Location was perfect, very laid back, awesome staff and beautiful atmosphere. Trails and downtown saint francisville were very close to hotel. We loved the balcony and rocking chairs.
This is the best stay I have had in such a long time. Bikes, the pool, the pool boy, dinner, Jim, and our room was like staying at the Ritz! So worth the stay!
