Like the small town atmosphere. Not overcrowded
with tourists . We rented a pontoon boat on the
lake which added to our experience. Beautiful vistas
with raging waterfalls and surrounding beauty.

Beautiful Nature/Scenery as well as Accommodations at Double Eagle Resort were even better than the great expectations previously had prior to trip.
Other exciting areas (Mono Lake/Bodie Historical Town) were a near drive and also very enjoyable.
Would return in the future for another relaxing and comfortable vacation, however, would choose to stay longer than I did to be able to have even more relaxation and fun.

The general store stocked most of the things we required.
The general store stocked most of the things we required. The other shops closed or opened at unpredicted times.
Lovely area with beautiful views and roads. I recommend visits to this area not earlier than late May.

This is one of my favorite vacation spots.
This is one of my favorite vacation spots. Very off the grid. Surrounded by beauty and nature.. A shot ride to Mammoth. In winter June Lake Ski is less crowded and great for family ski & snowboard season no matter your level. Parker Lake is a nice hike and not too difficult.
Not a lot of selection at the one small town market so keep that in mind during preparation.

June Lake is a little gem just north or Mammoth Lakes and a little South of Lee Vining. I absolutely love the small town atmosphere and the untouched beauty of the lakes that make up June Lake tourism. June mountain skiing was open for business and paddle sports have easy access to the lakes. There are a ton of back country and mt bike as well as rd bike options. Hiking is always a welcome activity here. If you want to get away from all of your troubles and woes, find June Lake and stay for a while.

I visited June Lake in the summer with the Covid pandemic so not ordinary times. I loved the town. I stayed right in the center and so I could
walk all around. I walked down to the general store and took groceries back to my room since most of the eateries and bars were closed.
I love Mammoth Lakes too but totally different vibe at June Lake-laid back, more easy going, funky, it has charm in it's small town feel.
And Carson Peak towers over the town-beautiful

It has to be understood that June Lake is for outdoors type hobbies. Yes other people come to enjoy a wonderful environment. All of the establishments are mom and pop. The June Lake Villager Motel is on the corner of the Main Street with rooms off the Main Street. The businesses you would use in this peaceful community are all within walking distance of the motel. June Lake Motel offers a variety of room sizes and amenities. The rooms have been recently nicely updated. They have two open spaces.
I think what brings us back every year is the old world charm that has been maintained. I hope that new ownership will expand upon the history of the hotel while upgrading the furniture in rooms.
Like the evening events such as movie night, ice cream social night and root beer float night. Liked morning coffee but wish it was available longer and with wider selection of creamers.
Spacious cabin, good basic amenities, clean linen, hot water available all the time, nicely decorated, close to the June lake marina, middle of the town, close to restaurants and grocery, outdoor patio grill fireplace within the property. The two bedrooms were the best part of the house, our boys enjoyed the bunk beds in their room.
Comfy bed with plenty of pillows & cushions, so doubled up as a sitting area. Large room, good separation between kitchen/dining area and bedroom area. plenty of storage space.
June lake is a lovely, friendly community in an area of outstanding beauty.
Stayed here for the June Lake Jam Fest. The room was cozy and clean as described. The staff was friendly and location was great with e-bikes to get to and from the festival. The large fireplace was fun to sit at on a cold night and meet other guests.
I loved the location of the hotel. I also loved the size of the rooms. They were very spacious and great for two toddlers to run around. We were able to walk around most of the town and really enjoyed the community park.
Loved the location. Deer grazed in the backyard. Quaint town, breathtaking lakes and mountains. Gull lake is less than a 5 min. walk away. 2 bedroom cottage was perfect for our group of 3 and happy it was pet friendly.
Lovely view over the town. Close to all June Lake town's shops and facilities. Central heating was appreciated during the snow storm. Well equipped kitchen with a coffee machine and LARGE fridge/freezer.
Loved the ambiance and cleanliness of the property. Cabins were spaced nicely for privacy and the patio was inviting.
The pond was beautiful & relaxing. We would definitely stay here again.
Perfect spot right on the heart of June lake.
Walking distance to all local bars and restaurants.
It’s practically a 1 bedroom apartment.
With an extra queen size sofa bed.
I love the room we had. It has the best view of June Lake. We stayed 5 days, and I would never stay anywhere else when in June Lake. Room 110 is the best. ❤️
We rented a two bedroom condo in June Lake Interlaken #35. We really liked the floor plan of the Unit - very spacious and had the potential of comfort.
