Not much to do in Fingal unless you like Golf and walking (...
Not much to do in Fingal unless you like Golf and walking (tramping). Need a car to get to and from it and to restaurants/wineries nearby. At Moona Links, Peppers restaurant is not open every night during the winter. Selection is limited and exy, anyway. The Spike Bar menu is the same as room sevice and is reasonably priced.
Rye is only a short drive away with many take-away places and small restaurants. The dinig area at the local RSL is huge and the menu is extensive! The pokies on the other hand are very Hungry!
If you are lucky, you might see a Whale breeching, off the coast at St Andrews Beach.

Our stay at Fingal was made wonderful by our hosts at Harmony B&B. The breakfasts provided by Jeremy and Sharon included fresh produce and the cooked dishes were wonderful. Sharon made fresh muffins every morning,Jeremy baked bread. The room was spacious, bathroom well appointed, private glass doors led out to expansive lawns and linen and towels were luxurious. The location was handy to wineries and other attractions.

Fingal is a wonderful area of the Mornington Peninsula.
Fingal is a wonderful area of the Mornington Peninsula. Moonah Links is a great place to stay, particularly Relax at 54. Pool and putting practice green are at your door. Restaurants are close by at the hotel. Peninsula Hot Springs is nearby. Two golf courses are also located within the Moonah Links resort.

Great central spot for day trips around the entire peninsula area. All wineries, beaches, fruit picking and quality restaurants within 10-20 mins drive. Also a very peaceful and quiet location away from the riff raff of Rye and Sorrento.

We were greeted by our host who was very friendly.
We were greeted by our host who was very friendly. We were going to a birthday party and when we returned in the evening the lights were on for us and so was the heating - it was so cosy. It's a beautiful property and so peaceful. It would have been great to stay more than the one night we did.

Lots of interesting attractions within 5-25 minutes drive...
Lots of interesting attractions within 5-25 minutes drive from apartment at Moonah Links. Cape Schanck National Park & Lighthouse, Point Nepean National Park, Red Hill Cheese, Brewery, distilleries, strawberry farm, produce farms & farmers markets, orchards, mazes & gardens, ice creamery, chocolaterie, bakeries, rail trail, wineries with pizzerias or restaurants, tree surfing.
We checked into the Open King Room which was comfortable and spacious. The room was clean to an extent and it had a nice view overlooking the golf courses. We enjoyed the tub and the early morning sun shining right through our balcony. The breakfast tasted good even though it was a standard continental buffet breakfast with the same menu repeated every day (or at least during the days we stayed). Overall it's a decent stay if you are visiting the peninsular hot springs or the nearby beaches as the location is central.
Fingal Farm is centrally located and an easy drive to the bay beaches or the back beaches, the Spa, Brewery, numerous wineries, townships of Sorrento, Portsea, Rosebud, Dromana or Flinders.
Murray and Mel are great hosts, replacing all towels, providing a fresh new artisan loaf and topping up the fresh OJ, milk condiments, teas and ground coffee daily.
The cottage accommodation incl. 2 Queen beds is very comfortable and quiet. There's also an
Awesome shower.
Sharon and Jeremy were excellent hosts. They were super accommodating to our dietary needs. The breakfast was very full and not skimpy at all. Much better than a typical hotel breakfast. And they were super helpful as well with local information and with helping us out after I took a painful fall at the local hot springs. Thank you again.
We’re very happy with our stay with them, so happy we chose to book this rather than a typical hotel. It was a perfect get away from Melbourne city and got to spend two nights at this beautiful place. The breakfast was unbelievable and they did everything they could to make our stay as good as possible. Would definitely book again!
Wonderful location, the entire experience was very nice. It felt like a little holiday down the coast. The pool is okay. The room is very nice and the staff was helpful. Location is prime if you’re after a quiet stay, short distance to multiple beaches.
Location of the hotel was amazing, just under 5 min from the hot springs and about 10-15 to the beach, The scenery was beautiful with a the green grass from the golf course to look out to as well as a mini pool and putting in the property.
Location was nice and private and had safe space outside for kids to play and explore. It was not far to a beach. The cottage was comfortable, clean and had bbq and outdoor picnic table. Hosts were great, very hospitable and courteous.
The Fingal Farm is in a quiet ,peaceful part of the beautiful Mornington Peninsula. It is close to fabulous beaches, golf courses and we 'll be recommending it to our friends.
