Run by a lovely, welcoming family. The room was very comfortable and having a fridge was useful. There was a nice balcony to have a peaceful sit down and relax in the evening. Was very underwhelmed by Berat.
Was very underwhelmed by Berat. One big building site and litter everywhere. View is alright but nothing special. Not much to do. Very quiet in March but traffic already tough so wouldn’t want to be there in summer.
Only playground in the village was extremely dirty and many things were broken.

Berat is a beautiful city, with breathtaking views,...
Berat is a beautiful city, with breathtaking views, beautiful streets filled with life, and amazing food. Definitely worth a visit. For homemade traditional Albanian food visit Lili Homemade food, perfect experience, lovely hosts and very delicious and cheap food
Nice, clean, tidy hotel room. The service staff was nice to me. There was a woman there who prepared breakfast and was kind; when I checked out of the hotel she treated me to a tangerine. The best thing about this hotel is that check-out was supposed to be at 11 a.m., and the hotel owner extended it until 1 p.m., since I asked her to extend it because of my online meeting, which I was very happy about. Recommend to all tourists who visit this beautiful historical city of Berat
Location was great (It must be known that there are some steps to reach the hotel but this is due to the landscape of Berat). Very close to the main spots of the town. The hotel is an ancient building made of bricks and wood, so fascinating. The staff is very kind and supportive, we had a great dinner with local foods and the breakfast was cooked at the moment, really appreciated (excellent pettule!). Also the reserved parking lot is a big plus. Great value for money.
Outstanding acomodation in beautiful surrounding. Few steps from parking area. Very clean, very comfortable beds, perfect location in Berat castle area. So calm during October stay. Breakfest in near Castle hotel, tasty and sufficient. Excelent restaurat in front of acomodation for dinners - Klea restaurant. There is no reception so better to inform about arrival time or people from close hotels can help to call owner and he is there in few minutes. Perfect stay!
The hotel is very cozy and beautiful, the rooms very comfortable with private bathrooms, both of good size. The breakfast was very nice with an Albanian dish, and the location was perfect. The service was perfect, all the people who worked there were super nice. In the end we regretted not staying more time. If you want a quiet place in the historic part of the city with quick access to bus, stores, restaurants and the Berati castel this is the one.
Xeno was a fantastic host, very nice guy and he was super helpful in suggesting cool things for us to do while staying in Berat. Our room was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel is in a fantastic location in the old castle district of Berat, truly nothing else quite like staying in the middle of such an old, historic, and beautiful place. A one of a kind spot, and I’d highly recommend Hotel Klea to anyone staying in Berat.
The hotel is located in a renovated and restored old house on the fortress of Berat, in a beautiful and quiet place, ideal for a pleasant vacation and getting to know the rich history of the city.
The hosts are very kind and full of useful information.
The rooms are clean, tidy and comfortable.
The hotel restaurant is located in a very nice area and offers delicious traditional Albanian dishes.
The Bujtina Bega guesthouse was one of our favorite stays in Albania! The building is a perfect combination of new and old, with lovely hosts, delicious breakfasts on a terrace with stunning views of the river valley, and a comfortable stone-walled rooms with modern amenities (and views!!!). We loved being right in Berat castle, tucked away but so close to everything - absolutely magical!
Magnificent and unforgettable view from the terrace to Mangalem (you can spend the whole night sitting and enjoying the view). The hosts are so friendly and helpful. Room was clean, cozy and spacious. I also would like to note very good breakfast with a perfect view, location in the center, free parking, good wifi. I suppose Ajka hotel would be the best choice to stay in Berat.
A very friendly staff, a plenty of choices during breakfast. A fantastic value for money; It was nice to get a welcome drink (water) taking into account the heatwave at that time. The hotel you cannot miss in Berat; so easy to find! All the guests can use an indoor pool free of charge. We could also have a later check out without any problems.
The accommodation is really cozy and clean :)
In the middle of Berat and staff were very sweet
We arrived about 7pm and we asked the hotel staff about a car park which was just next to the bridge where the hotel is
Clean room with a comfy mattress
Super tasty breakfast and dinner was also an option to order in their cozy dining room
Xho's Forest Guest house is a family run hotel. The rooms were comfortable and the common breakfast area spacious. The owners were very helpful. They helped us getting taxis. The breakfast was ample and tasty. They also had laundry services which we availed. All in all, I would recommend this hotel for those visiting Berat.
Great location.
The room was huge, very comfortable bed, good bathroom and great shower pressure. Big balcony that overlook Berat.
Staff was really attentive and breakfast was one of the best and most complete of the ones I had in Albania.
They have an outside parking in the front door of the hotel too.
The hotel is enchanting. Staying there really enhances the experience in Berat. It was charming walking up the cobblestone streets to find the hotel. The proprietors serve a lovely breakfast that includes olives from their garden. The views from the terrace and the front room are incredible.
Such a lovely and comfortable small hotel in the heart of Berat and the UNESCO quarter. The room is traditional, comfortable, clean and the staff is also really nice. Breakfast was delicious and the best I had during my Albania trip. The old bridge and castle are close by.
Wow! This place is wonderful - the rooms are incredibly clean and the style is just breathtaking. Everything was perfect during our stay - the room, the service, the breakfast. Definitely the top hotel in Berat!
We had a lovely stay at the hotel with a perfect location away from the noise, but in a walking distance from the center of Berat. Loved the staff and the breakfast.
