The scenery of Sedona is stunning. The trailhead parking can be an issue, and we were there during the week. I would not attempt a visit on the weekend as Sedona is extremely popular. There is a Sedona shuttle. We ate dinner one night at Mesa Grill, which was excellent. Reservations are required for dinner at Mesa Grill, even on a week night.

This location is south of Sedona in the smaller community of Village of Oak Creek. Close to many wonderful hikes, walking distance to grocery store and several restaurants yet far from the larger Sedona crowds and traffic. Nearby Ranger Station very well done and helpful.

One or two days is all that is needed if with a family.
One or two days is all that is needed if with a family. The town is too crowded and commercialized so visit Sedona for the nature, the hikes, the vistas. If you do plan in being in town then plan to visit very early on weekends and watch out for traffic, it can be really bad. Also, make dinner reservations well in advance. Food/restaurants are just OK so if you are a foodie lower your expectations.

Beware of ticketing traps on tourists.
Beware of ticketing traps on tourists. Look at Trip Advisor concerning this scam. Always loved Sedona. We parked with other cars on a quiet street where there were no 'no parking' signs. We got a ticket for $125 and cannot possibly go to court to contest it. We live in Washington. We were legally parked and criminalized as is their routine for tourists. One of the
restaurants imposed a 24% tip automatically

Amazing views, abundance of trails and activities in the area. However, beware that Sedona is a small town that receives millions of tourists every year, hence driving/parking situation is abysmal. Stay in close proximity to trails and restaurants if you can to avoid driving.

Sedona is beautiful because of the scenery.
Sedona is beautiful because of the scenery. There’s beauty everywhere because of the gigantic red buttes that surround the town. The restaurants are good and staff friendly. The atmosphere is very spiritual because of the vortexes. There are many places for interesting hikes.
A good place for shoppers although the traffic can be challenging. Sedona has something for everyone.
We’ve visited several times and will return again.
Sky Ranch Lodge is a great place to stay when you're in Sedona. It is located above the city and provides a phenomenal view of the mountains. It is centrally located, so you have quick access to the stores and restaurants, but away from the traffic noise during the busy season. Check out their website; the rooms and views are as pictured. The crews are awesome, the grounds are well kept, and the rooms are spacious. We stayed at one other hotel/motel once; never again. Sky Lodge is our only choice when staying in Sedona.
Location is great! I mean the view you can't beat from the hotel balcony. In the parking lot is Agave89 which is the best Mexican and margaritas we've 'ever' had. Walking distance to upper Sedona and shops and restaurants. Short drive to all the hiking and other sites. Staff very friendly and accommodating. We had an issue with our toilet and it was fixed immediately from a very nice guy. Probably the most we've paid for a hotel on vacation however, I'm all about the deck and view which is amazing.
Amazing customer service. The staff is so kind and they have plenty of activities located at the hotel to keep you busy. Game night with root beer floats, lawn games, gym, two pools and jacuzzis! The beds are comfortable and clean. There is complimentary tea, coffee, iced tea, and water infused with lemon and mint. I would definitely recommend staying at Arabella Hotel Sedona when your in town! There is not one thing to complain about.
While it was a 10-15 minute drive to the center of Sedona, it was the perfect spot for accessing all the beautiful trails. Most were a one minute to seven minute drive to the trailheads. The village had a number of acceptable restaurants, and other conveniences, like a grocery store, gas stations, etc. The hotel manager was very hospitable and helpful.
The room was very spacious, quiet, and very clean. The bed was very comfortable.
Very pet friendly. The woman at the front desk, sorry I don't remember her name, was exceptionally helpful with tips on things to do in Sedona and getting us what we needed for the room. We had an unexpected health issue with our dog. She was very caring regarding our pet. Fortunatley It all worked out. The room is really nice looking and cozy. The fireplace was cool. The bed was very comfortable.
I was in town for the run Sedona half marathon and this hotel was walking distance to the race start. There was also a race shuttle stop near by but I didn't use it. Hotel Parking was easy. I was able to get a spot near my door. I didn't hear any noise from other rooms. The room got fairly dark with the blackout curtains closed. The hotel was close to restaurants and stores.
Sedona is a magical and tranquil place to visit and stay. I booked this hotel for my parents, and they absolutely loved it! They had no problems checking in their room, room was spacious, and had all the amenities. They absolutely want to go back and stay at same hotel. The price is fantastic, great value, and most importantly, peace of mind.
The view was spectacular! The room was spacious, and the total ambience was great. Nice cookies at the reception and a free drive service to uptown in Sedona. The trail across the street from the hotel was perfect for us as we wanted to do a hike. Though no food on site but we had breakfast at a grill which was 5 minutes' walk from the lodge.
It's outside the busy downtown of Sedona which is a plus for not being stuck in traffic when leaving/coming back to the hotel. Easy access to lots of hiking trails like the boyton canyon and subway cave trails. Supernice decorated rooms and clean too.
Breakfast was okay.
It would be hard to find a hotel in Sedona for this low a price. The room was very spacious and bright. There is no elevator to get to the second floor, so you need to be careful. There is a Japanese owned "831-Ramen" near the hotel, and the service was excellent.
staff was super helpful and the breakfast was the best in my experience. the hotel is in the great place in the heart of the social life of Sedona.
beautiful view out of the window
Hotel has been recently renovated, all looks new and very clean. Staff is very accommodating . Location is great, 10 min to sedona downtown and right next to bell rock and red rock
Everytime My family and I visit Sedona we always stay in this Hotel.I loved the view of my balcony room. And the pool area.It will be perfect if they offer morning breakfast.
Clean resort with fun amenities (pool, basketball, mini golf, etc). Had our own space to ourselves, fully equipped kitchen, located slightly outside of the Sedona traffic.
