It’s wonderful how they have kept the cottages and renovated with all the modern day amenities. We stayed at the cottage down by the river. With the windows closed you could not hear the river (so you can sleep). It felt like going back in time and being in nature. The large house is very charming, fishing tackle and rods everywhere as decor. The bar and dining rooms are so cosy and comfortable. It’s a beautiful property. The dinner was very good, as was breakfast in the sun room.

the location was rural which was good but had to drive about 3 or 4 miles for food as there was none on offer either in the evening or morning but overall it was a great place to stay for the peace and quiet

Easy to find and a superb host! Excellent buffet breakfast. Very quiet and peaceful with a view over the bay. About a 10 minute walk into the village and would highly recommend Peets. Would certainly stay again. We had a booking at Delilah's but walked out soon after entering.
