Margeritaville and Aquasol are closed due to a wave that destroyed them. No go karts. Heard pelican cove was good but since we cooked we didn’t go out at night. We didn’t feel comfortable doing that anyway. All I he tourist shops sell the same stuff. The shops that say groceries have very little. Go to progressive foods and stock up on water, dairy, etc. there was no lettuce so I made greek style salads with peppers and tomatoes. Toasted westerns. Pasta and rice.
We spent most days at doctors cave which is perfect and lunch good too. $50 per day for one umbrella and two chairs. We had lunch on the beach every day. It was great.
Tried harmony beach twice it was good. But I would not wander further than that. We took local red plate taxis for 200 JM or $2 US. The KFC sells the most amount of chicken daily it’s a lineup and drive through around the corner, you won’t get any. Just get the pizza next door and give the leftover to whoever asks. This is across from harmony beach. 🏖️ I like that they search all our bags for glass and knives and hang on to them. Good! We felt safe there too.
Doctors cave was the best. People everywhere were super friendly.
Next time, I’ll go back to Negril. It’s more zen there.
But I’d stay a night or two in Montego Bay. And hang out during the day. Not the night.

Unless your all-inclusive resort has a lot of options to keep you entertained, nice beach access, and good food, you better find a different part of the country for your stay. Mo Bay is a run-down town, not fun walking or strolling the city's pot hole ridden streets. It has an uneasy feeling of " I made a wrong choice" place. You'll be constantly bothered by people trying to sell you weed. offer you a "boy for the night," taxi services, or beg for money. Avoid!

I was only there one night. I didn't get to see much. The arrival area of the airport was not very nice. The restroom was terrible. The departure part of the airport was nice but the food was very expensive.

The 'Hip Strip' as really not much to write home about. we got as far as the park, and there was a lot of desolation, and a few shops and bars. the people are very friendly and its very safe, but certainly not much to do that we found.

Staff was very friendly, had a wonderful conversation early one morning with a lovely lady named Delva. She had a wonderful spirit about her and seemed like a very hard worker. I could've talked to her for hours but of course she was working. Had another nice conversation with a gentleman that was cleaning the pool, he told me his name but I can't remember. He's been there for 3 years and said that of all of the places that he's worked at The Blue Orchid was his favorite because of the staff. I agree! Food was great too. I'll definitely be returning in the future.
- The staff was outstanding, across the board! I don't remember having a better service than at this hotel!
- At an all inclusive, a lot of times the food and drinks are just "ok", and in their case they were absolutely flawless! Drinks were incredible, food was incredible and varied. We looked forward to the next meal every time!
- There are some performances by the pool during weekend nights and they were all AMAZING! The singers and the bands were jaw-dropping, while we sat by the pool with drinks in our hands. What a vibe!
Nice little appartement. The place was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. It's close to area attractions like the Rose Hall Great House. It's a great place to stay if you are like me and prefer to get to know people and the culture and not just other tourists in an all inclusive resort. The property is gated and felt secure. Annmareen was so sweet and helpful. She actually called me when she saw me leaving and noticed I took a wrong turn. Would definitely stay here again.
The food is absolutely amazing. I have been to a lot of all inclusive resorts and their food can be bland, but not here! The entertainment is top tier! It’s amazing that they put so much effort into entertaining their guests with their shows. The shows were like something I’d pay to see back in the states, but it was included! The staff were amazing and helpful. The rooms were huge! Everything was clean and Covid precautions were taken seriously.
We liked that it was all inclusive, the beach is across the road from the Resort. Tuesday night's entertainment of Fire Show and the Rum Bar show was fantastic. Breakfast, lunch and dinner absolutely fab with real Jamaican cuisine. The staff were friendly and helpful. Very lively environment and there's communal areas to relax and chill, outside grill and bar by the swimming pool so don't have to go down to the main bar or restaurant.
The food was mostly excellent and the staff exceptional in every way and at all levels. Entertainment was tasteful and not noisy as at other all inclusives. The hotel seemed well run and anticipated every possible need of guests from candy to beach chairs and towels. In a class of its own!
I booked all inclusive for 2 days for me and my kids. The front desk staff was pleasant and customer service was great. The room was ocean view a very good size room and the beds were comfortable. The swimming pool was good and entertainments.
I liked how spacious the venue was and the live entertainment. Cocktails were top quality and not watered down like some all inclusive venues I’ve visited in the past. All the staff were extremely polite and professional.
Plenty of cabanas on the beach so you can get a seat anytime. The restaurants were very good and the coffee bar in the lobby was wonderful. The covid test upon departure was also included and done at the hotel.
Peter and his wife are the kindest hosts! The place is in great location and walking distance from Doctor’s Cave beach and the Montego Bay nightlife. The breakfast is as excellent. Highly recommend this place!
It has everyting you need but it could be a bit cheaper given the standard which is around 2,5 stars . Location is just 10/10 you take elevator down 15 stories and you end up in a front of Doctors Cave Beach.
The property is exceptionally beautiful and clean! It provides the true experience of an All Inclusive Hotel. The staff were amazing and the cleanliness of the property again is next to none!
I love the all inclusive part. The staff were all nice and helpful. He property was well maintained. There were activities for everyone from day to night. It’s a beautiful property.
