Orama Hotel & Spa features a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, fitness center, a garden and shared lounge in Fira.

The resort is within walking distance of Fira Center. We arrived early in the day and they kept our luggage secure in a locked storage room. The resort is beautiful with 3 pools, a wellness center. We had a family suite which was large for a group of three. Breakfast was served every morning with a large selection of hot and cold items. The bar is open in the evening until approx. 10 :30 p.m. On the day that we left for Athens, we could not get breakfast so they prepared a breakfast box for us to take.

Hotel Akrotiri is enjoying a prime waterfront location in Akrotiri beach, near Santorini’s famous Red Beach and the archeological site.

The Hotel was clean & relaxing in a great location, away from the hustle & bustle of tourists. Mathios, Anna Maria, & the hotel staff were excellent! Worry-free Airport transfers & island/boat tours were arranged by the hotel. Great food selection for breakfast & lunch, with great nearby restaurants and bars, too for dining options.

Santorini Kastelli Resort is in a secluded location just a 2 minute walk from the beach of Kamari.

We had a perfect time at this hotel. The staff is very helpful and kind. We loved Raphaella, the girls at the spa, really everyone. The hotel is very clean which is very important to us. The restaurant and room service are reasonably priced and not crazy expensive like in other hotels we have stayed in. The location is great! 2 min from the beach and restaurants. We also enjoyed the luxury area and pool. Perfect value for money. Can't wait to come back

Great little city. Good food, night life, places to stay and the public bus is easy and affordable to ride. Nearby beaches. I had Exo Gialos all to myself for a beautiful sunrise and walked to it from my Villa.

Our stay at Fava Eco Suites was the highlight of our holiday, we loved it. The room was fantastic (honeymoon suite) with a spa bath on the roof, the water was warm and we spent a lot of time in there overlooking the ocean. Harris was very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast delivered to our room every morning was delicious. The walk to Oia is easily managed and we walked over regularly. Some great restaurants in Finikia, we would recommend Krinali, overall we loved our stay.

Beautiful sunsets, quieter than Fira. I would go back in a heart beat. It is peaceful, clean and you get a real feel of Greek tradition on your doorstep. Walking distance to Fira where you can get the bus to Oia for 2.50 euros Volkan open air cinema is great for sunset and solo traveler. Romantica is a gorgeous Greek restaurant. Ilios bakery great for breakfast.

Lots of beachside restaurants with extensive menus and also supermarkets selling the essentials and more. Plenty of space to enjoy the beach. Only issue is that Kamari is on the flight path to the airport, but that didn't cause me too much problem as the noise from the planes only lasted a few seconds before landing. I would recommend visiting the ancient city remains on the mountain top.

Good selection of shops, eateries, bars and great bakeries. Good bus service to Fira. We all hear about the sunset on the other side of the island. But nobody speaks of the sunrise on this side. We were down on the beach to see it on 3 occasions. Fantastic. Red, orange, yellow. Then the golden sun appears. I am 74 and have travelled wide. This experience was exceptional.

    Akrotiri town is nice.

Akrotiri town is nice. It was quiet, but perhaps we are out of season. We ate at Portobello restaurant. Excellent service and kind waiters. They also speak French. Red Beach was closed due to rock slides. The beach is hard to access, even to observe. Great location to visit the rest of the island. The lighthouse was a close location to view the sunset. Sunsets are a Santorini attraction but are only good on very clear days. If there is a haze, you'll be disappointed.

Firostefani is close enough to Fira that you can't tell the difference really. Santorini in general is very touristy even in October. Too many tourists! Very much a tourist trap. Worth seeing the crazy cliff side architecture of Fira and Oia on a short stay but not really somewhere I will return to, but other people love it. Do the hike from Fira to Oia (lots of ups and downs though) for amazing views of the volcanic crater that created Santorini. Stay here or anywhere close to Fira though since all the very inexpensive Metro buses terminate in Fira and the island is tiny so you can do easy trips from the bus terminal to all parts of the island and there is really no need to rent a car.

There are a couple of real highlights. First watch the sun go down from the top of the hill at Franco's. Second eat at Cava Alto. The most amazing and inventive mediterrean cuisine with a superb atmosphere. Try and avoid using taxis they are ruinouslt expensive.

the location is not what it seams, it is just between the main road and other construction sites or empty fields, with no nice view. Overrated prices on booking.com compared with the reception prices or any other nice hotels even in Oia.
