The room was fantastic. Brilliant view, comfortable bed, lovely bath and tasteful furniture. Both the bedroom and bathroom were much bigger than usual, and we were so lucky to see the most spectacular sunset from the room.

Very good quality apartment on the ground floor. It comprises a spacious lounge with a good sofa, plasma screen TV, and a small fridge for drinks and snacks. Adjoining the lounge is the bedroom area which has a comfortable double bed and tea and coffee making facilities, with an ensuite shower room behind it. Wifi is available throughout the apartment as it has a strong signal. I didn't meet the owner, but we spoke on the 'phone twice and she was very helpful.

The layout of this cottage was superb - especially for my elderly mother who has mobility challenges. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were luxurious - especially the tubs! The remote charm of this cottage was further enhanced by the whole village, including the friendly proprietor and locals at the nearby pub, plus an excellent mobile coffee wagon we discovered near the common. Perfect for a quiet weekend away in the country.
