The staff at the front desk were very disrespectful
Even the manager was very disrespectful. Literally using profanity when dealing with me. Never in a million years have I’ve would’ve ever expected to experienced this unprofessionalism and disrespect from a Holiday inn Staff members. This place is Ghetto and need some reevaluating on their staff. It’s a great Disgrace to the company brand I’m fully convinced they just hired anyone off the streets with mental illness issues and no form of conduct. Just blatant disrespect right in front of customers.

The property was very nice for the location considering that it’s downtown Brooklyn, but the staff wasn’t very accommodating to me. I didn’t feel welcome, every time I went on the deck for a smoke security would come outside behind me. My room had a standing shower instead of a bathtub which I didn’t appreciate considering I paid almost 200 for one night and didn’t even stay the whole night. Also the don’t accept cash so the deposit policies are confusing

Immortalized in popular music, culturally diverse Brooklyn has achieved almost legendary status. On the western end of Long Island, across the East River from Manhattan, this huge NYC borough is so densely populated that if it were its own city, it would rank as the 4th largest in the US!
The borough is connected to Manhattan by 3 bridges: Williamsburg, Manhattan and the iconic Brooklyn Bridge. It's also connected to Staten Island by the lengthy Verrazano Narrows Bridge. Ocean-going liners pass under here before docking at the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal in Red Hook. To the northeast, Brooklyn Bridge Park has some of the best views of the Manhattan skyline, while southeast is the huge Prospect Park.
On one edge is Brooklyn Museum, the country’s 2nd largest art gallery, and just behind is the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens whose cherry trees bloom a vibrant pink. To the east are some hotels near JFK Airport, and there are more in neighboring Queens.
At Brooklyn’s southernmost tip, Coney Island’s historic boardwalk has appeared in several films. Renovations are underway to bring it back to its former glory, and the revamped Luna features a historic wooden roller coaster. Also historic is the northern Greenpoint district with its elegant 19th-century houses.
Cheap Brooklyn hotels are great alternatives to accommodations in Manhattan, so check Booking.com for the best deals.
Great restaurants and cocktail bars! Shout out to Laser Wolf, Deux Chats, With Others and Baby Blues (breakfast). Domino Park’s a great place to walk and see across to Manhattan. Easy access to the city via subway.

This hotel has a bus stop right in front of it that take you express into the city. During my stay i would walk the few block to the train station and once i was done with my day in the city i would take the express bus straight to the hotel, what a luxury.

Brooklyn is one of the most diverse places on Earth.
Brooklyn is one of the most diverse places on Earth. Old, new, rich, not-so-rich. Every cuisine and kind of neighborhood. Prospect Park is in great shape and safe. The new(ish) waterfront parks by the Brooklyn Bridge and Brooklyn Heights are in super condition and have great view of lower Manhattan. Walking the bridge is a really highlight. So much more reasonable than staying in Manhattan too, and just a really short subway ride to all the best lower Manhattan attractions and neighborhoods. People have a lot of crazy ideas that big cities are bad and broken in the USA. It’s just not true in Brooklyn. It’s a great place that’s better than it was 20-30 years ago.

Amazing view of the bridge and the Manhattan skyline,...
Amazing view of the bridge and the Manhattan skyline, especially when timing with the sunset. Plenty of places to eat. We had a 10 minute walk from our hotel in Dyker Heights to the nearest subway and there were loads of shops, eating places and cafes - including the likes of Victoria's Secrets and Saphora, so I expect the area to be growing and becoming more popular.

Brooklyn is a vibrant, hip, and inclusive section of NYC.
Brooklyn is a vibrant, hip, and inclusive section of NYC. Parts of it remind me of the 60-70’s culture with a lot more money and style. People are busy but enjoy city life together at night. Brooklyn has a definite cool vibe. I felt it was an intelligent community and safe.
My recent stay was an absolute delight. The accommodation was spacious and the warm, cozy ambiance instantly made me feel at home even though they were remodeling the building. The hosts was welcoming and very helpful and responsive. What really sets this location apart is its proximity to a vibrant array of dining options, must-see spots, and bars. Lots to do in the Brooklyn area. This stay in Williamsburg not only met but exceeded my expectations, and I am already looking forward to my next visit.
Location to some of the best restaurants in Williamsburg, lots to look at within walking distance. Most of the staff were great such as front desk, restaurant staff and cleaning. Room is a decent size for NYC and we had a spectacular view of Manhattan. We also ate and drank a bit at the hotel restaurant and found it to be delicious. We ordered our own food and they let us eat in the nice bar area. From the 5th floor, you can’t hear the night club at the Water Tower above, thank goodness.
The hotel is located in a convenient area. The hotel has all the amenities that you may need. There are restaurants close by. The hotel does not have a parking, but a parking garage is literally next door (30 seconds away). We stayed at this hotel, because it was close to the wedding place we had to go to, and the price was cheaper than other hotels close by. I would stay here again.
The rooms were large enough and comfortable. The location of the hotel was convenient to many places in Brooklyn by walking. The staff was helpful and we were happy with the efforts of the bar staff to arrange a long table for a large group attending a birthday party nearby. In fact, there were many events taking place at the hotel, including weddings and another birthday party.
We were surprised how expensive New York hotels have become but we eventually found Henry Norman in Brooklyn and found it to be a real treat. The hotel offers a low cost very acceptable breakfast and although no evening restaurant, the Brooklyn area is plastered with cheap, very good takeaways which although not the Ritz were safe, fun and even quirky.
Well located hotel (within close proximity of nearest metro station) with a helpful staff. Pretty much everything you need for a cheaper stay close to Manhattan. Well balanced price-to-benefit ratio (taking into consideration NY metropolitan area during September). The room had an amazing view towards Manhattan which definitely paid off!
I loved everything about this hotel. Never stayed in Brooklyn before but I ended up loving it. Williamsburg is a lovely neighborhood with so many great shops and restaurants. I really loved my hotel room. It was quite large by New York standards with a large balcony and a spectacular view. The rooftop bar was also amazing.
Great hotel in central location. Walking distance to DUMBO, Brooklyn Bridge, Barclays Centre, Court Street shops. Always felt safe. Great customer service and housekeeping. Also close to Jay St Subway for easy access to other parts of Brooklyn and Manhattan. Highly recommended.
The Bogart by LuxUrban is a smart hotel with friendly and courteous staff that finds itself in a fantastic Brooklyn location. There's a subway stop less than five minutes away on foot and a few stores, as well as cafes, bars and restaurants just a little further afield.
Great location, Smith Street has lots of nice restaurants and good metro connections to Manhattan and other Brooklyn areas. Pretty big rooms for New York standards with a king size bed. We liked the quick and easy breakfast at the hotel.
This is a great New York neighborhood in the heart of Williamsburg Brooklyn. The Pod's are known for tiny rooms but well designed. There is light and quiet. Public spaces in the hotel especially the roof garden and bar are exceptional
Location - it’s the first stop on the L train in Brooklyn so it’s convenient for both Brooklyn and Manhattan. Price - considerably cheaper than a hotel in Manhattan. There are nice restaurants and bars in the neighborhood.
Very accommodating and staff was very helpful. The hotel is central to everything in Downtown Brooklyn. This will most likely be my hotel. I didn’t like the breakfast so I walked to Juniors right up the block.
The location of this hotel in Brooklyn can't be beaten. It is opposite one main subway line, with 2 more subway line options only a street away. The rooms are large, comfortable, well appointed and quiet.
The location is great right off the Brooklyn Bridge, and a few blocks from the shopping area downtown.
The Interior of the hotel overall was really pretty. The towels were so soft and had a rain shower
Nice newish hotel in a good location in Brooklyn. The room was clean and had everything we needed, there was paid parking available at the hotel as well. Overall a decent choice for the area.
Our entire experience at Ace Hotel Brooklyn was excellent. The bar was beautiful and the drinks were delicious. We had breakfast at the resturant and the food was amazing. High recommend!
