It's a vibrant and beautiful little town! Locals are friendly, and there's a large ex-pat community. Taxis are reasonably priced, but it's wise to make an agreement to pay the driver at the destination before the driver starts driving.AAnonymous - 8.0Scored 8.0

Great area for outdoor adventures. Was a little disappointed with the town itself-too many pizza and burger/American food places and junky souvenir places. Wished there were more Panamanian places. But the area is beautiful and people were really nice.

well we actually stayed mar 17 mar 21.. 2024....clean...has elegance and views of the birds that frequent the feeders...at the RESIDIENCES however. all the realtors I emailed, talked too knew I WAS INTERESTED IN YELLOW VIEW LISTED AT $225,000...i even wanted to rent it with the option to buy... THE REPLY TO THAT WAS the owner wanted to keep it in pristene condition for buyer...so we flew down from VANCOUVER, B.C. TO VIEW THAT YELLOW HOUSE, FIREPLACE, JACUZZI TUB.. and guess what it was rented...so TATIANA CASTRO WAS GOING OUT TO VIEW THE HOUSE, WE ASKED IF WE MAY GO WITH HER...HER ANSWER, RENT SOMETHING FOR 2 MONTHS AND I WILL FIND YOU A GOOD HOUSE I HAD ALREADY BEEN WRITING REALTORS ABOUT THATHOUSE FOR 6 MONTHS...SO NO LOYALTY WITH THEM AND WE MAY BUY OUR 11 HOME BUT IT WON'T BE IN PANAMA.. It is a very cute place with excellent weather during January. We had dinner at the Panamonte and at Butchers (the meat was excellent). The new walking park next to the river is beautiful. We visited Finca Lerida, it is a beautiful finca with the best coffee served (and passion fruit cake!) - we drive to the National Park area and the view was stunning! And then we drove to the Volcan area. Different kind of nature, beautiful as well!

We absolutely loved Boquete!
We absolutely loved Boquete! Gorgeous, stunning natural beauty. Birds, flowers, plants. We saw a range of different birds species including many hummingbirds, warblers and the Quetzal. The weather is temperature and lovely as well. The locals are friendly. I strongly recommend this to any nature lover who just loves spending time outdoors. :)

Hot at night and no fan or A/C in the room, kept window and door open and night at the cost of a few mosquito bites. Bathroom was camping style, but fairly clean. Shower was great with good pressure and hot/cold water and shampoos. Garden very cozy with a river running through the place. Staff very friendly and the cutest hostel puppy. Restaurant was good also, make a 9$ breakfast. Walking distance to most things in Boquete.

It had a nice terrace out the back of the building, with an amazing view over the river, the mountains and the flower garden. The staff was very kind and friendly, always happy and eager to help you. They spoke English as well. The rooms were quite spatious and clean. There was hot shower, a tv and a standing fan. The area was quiet, you could only hear the river, but to us, that was relaxing

The place has everything you could want, amazing kitchen, lovely garden, friendly staff and comfy shared areas. The room was large, clean and well equipped. Absolute 10, I highly recommend this place. If you think its a little bit out of the way from Boquete, the buses and taxis run so regularly that its not even a problem. 60 cents for a bus and 1 usd for a taxi per person. It's a hostel, but we had a comfortable private room. There's a little terrace that looks out over the back garden where you can sit and relax.
