It’s very diverse, lots of sightseeing, plenty of places to go and eat. The Asian gardens are at their best in spring and autumn as they are my favourite time of year. Has some great places to go shopping. Once of the main road through town the side streets look pretty with all the jacaranda trees that have been growing for over a hundred plus years. If you want to see them in full bloom then visit for the yearly flower festival held every spring.AngelaAustralia - 10Scored 10

Toowoomba has beautiful gardens, and flowers all around the city. They still have many of the old architectural building which is a credit to the town. Being central you could walk just about everywhere.

Our last overnight stop before home so did not spend much time there. Would be an ideal place to stay for the yearly flower festival. Visited the Cobb & Co museum which was very interesting. Nice, very popular cafe inside. Made our own supper with food purchased from the Coles supermarket which was right near the Jacaranda Place Motor Inn. A fast food outlet was situated on the other side of the road, so no need to go hungry.

We came to Toowoomba to visit a family member in Hospital, it was not a trip for pleasure unfortunately, but its like any other city, hustle and bustle of traffic flow, if you don't like the rat race of traffic, don't drive in the busy periods.

We were travelling for a funeral and it was a great respite at the end of long days and very warm with central airconditioning so we had great nights sleep in lovely beds. Good to have secure parking, easy check out, would stay again and was ready to move in! Also lovely view over Toowoomba, felt like you were somewhere else. Also we have a full access to kitchen, toilet and laundry, also water pressure is really good and also very hot water available. I had really amazing shower. I really liked all, couch in the lounge was another sofa-bed, kid’s toys were available, which we were very happy about. Host put a milk in the fridge, really appreciate it.

Possibly the most cleaned and well-maintained we have stayed at in Toowoomba.
