My family (including 6+8 year old children), were met from our ferry and drivnn to Niriides by Mike. We hadn't realised that the hotel is 2km from any shop but we were given a lift to town when needed and in the end the distance from town was a benefit as the hotel is so peaceful, spacious and close to a perfect little beach as a result of being further away from the town. We saw dolphins, star fish and more in the bay just down from the hotel that our kids could safely walk down to in the morning. The walk to the town is also a fun distraction from playing on the beach, or drinking cocktails on the beautiful terrace at the hotel. All of the staff at Niriides were welcoming, friendly and efficient; the breakfast was great with Greek pastries, yoghurt, a plethora of homemade jams and honey, strong coffee, and cooked eggs, bacon etc. We had the best time at Niriides and would return in an instant.

We've been here 10 years ago when the owners were different. The new owners made really nice upgrades, planted many trees and plants and renovated the rooms. It's an absolute gem, away from the busyness of the port. The sea is amazing and the cafe on the beach was simply great. The staff is very friendly and polite. Would recommend to anyone (apart from the ones who are looking for partying, this is a very tranquil place, please go somewhere else :))

Location is amazing, super quiet and beautiful. The hotel has several really nice and green areas to sit, relax and enjoy the view. Room was comfortable and big. Buffet breakfast very complete. Would have stayed the whole week instead of just 2 days :) Nice beaches just down the road. It's a half an hour walk from port/town, but the walk is nice and there is a shuttle service available if you want. I personally enjoyed being in this beautiful and quiet area a lot and would choose it again.

Very serene location. A sense of calm. Lovely view from hotels terrace. If you really want a nice peaceful laid back stay, its the place to be. Re-vitalize. The staff are all very friendly and sweet. The walk from port to hotel along the sea is a walk with a view. It takes about 35 minutes. Enjoyable. A transfer service is also offered for arrivels and departures if you wish and during your stay transfer into harbour available too for small fee. Kind and nice driver! :) :) Thank you Alexandros for vip tranfer service! The sea is a minimal walk down, beautiful bay to swim in. Had refreshing wonderful swims. Relaxing. Enough books at hotel to pick from if you like a good read. Feeling re-energized and happy.

The hotel was lovely, overlooking a quiet cove with great swimming. Breakfast was delicious, the room was comfortable and airy. The gardens were superb and the setting was quiet and rural. There was a regular bus service to the main port area.

We enjoyed the breakfast, every day they tried to offer different specialities which were all good and appetizing. The hotel was 2-3 km away from Symi Town and there was free car service provided by the hotel management which was really very useful.
