RTD trains and buses are amazing and very affordable on a day ticket, for someone without own transport. Really great to be able to get to town from the airport for only $10. The 16th Street free mall ride also helps a lot.
I found Uber very expensive, which is a pity. It was quite a mission to get to the Denver Premium Outlets without own transport.
Had the opportunity to attend a game at Coors field - nice experience.
I booked some day trips with a local operator that got cancelled over the weekend - pity.

The Denver airport is the size of a city.
The Denver airport is the size of a city. It’s very difficult to get from one place to another. Not traveler friendly
There are not enough signs to direct you to check in , security offers two places to choose from . But is not on your boarding ticket
South west flight arrived too late for my connection.
They booked me the next morning. They refused to let me check a 50lb bag refused 3 times to help me find a hotel? I was left on my own. 3 agents said they did not
Know of hotels. BUT later discovered there’s a Westin at the airport I stayed there.i am 75. And Southwest left me to sleep in a chair at their counter with my bag
There were No electric in sight to charge my phone.

I had heard about Denver for so long, and was so excited to go. We did take one day-trip out for hiking ( trail, which I highly recommend) but Denver overall was a big disappointment. The smell of marijuana everywhere. So much traffic - travel time between locations was unpredictable. Downtown was scary!

There is a ton to do.
There is a ton to do. While 16th Street is really torn-up with construction, there is still a vibrance in Downtown that was really enjoyable. Sure, there are a few houseless individuals, as with most larger cities, but the area from the stadium to the Civic Center seemed safe enough for the thoughtful traveler.

Hotel hell. Do not stay here!!
Hotel hell. Do not stay here!! Our first room had shattered window. The second room someone was in there already. Couldn't check in till after 9pm because the office was closed for a break. The third room was filthy. The kitchen stove was sitting on the counter because it didn't fit in the space with live wires. Holes in the walls. People pee in the hallways and corridor walls. Smelled so bad. The ma nager went and changed our reservation to check out 3 days early so they could get the deposit I paid for..adding extra 100 dollars. Got it resolved but the keys were disconnected and we were locked out for 2 days. Office was never open during this time to get new keys. We had to break in. A man overdosed on Fentanyl and died. Cops there all the time. Multiple times a day. Prostitution active. Laundry room was covered in glass. Horrid experience. DO NOT STAY HERE!!
The live Jazz band is highlight of the hotel, being able to hear them in the spacious building provided great acoustics. Location of the hotel is also one of the best with everything within walking distance, ended up staying an extra night due to how comfortable and inviting the space felt. Room service food was 10/10, didn’t get a chance to eat at the other restaurant they had sadly but i will recommend this hotel to anybody staying in the denver area & plan on booking for all my future trips.
Very reliable and courteous shuttle service much appreciated, it runs every 30 minutes and to pick it up from the airport I had no need to book, just looked out for the bus with the hotel name "Comfort Suites" at the hotel bus area island, easy to find. The Room was excellent.. large with a great bathroom. Very quiet at night apart from the doors slamming, I suggest a retrofit of rubber stops better closers or something to cure this issue.
The location of this hotel in downtown Denver was good, within walking distance of many restaurants. The front desk staff were excellent--fun and very helpful. The room/suite was lovely, spacious, and very comfortable, and the breakfast was EXCELLENT! Although pricey ($54) we appreciated the secure valet parking, as we had a lot of "stuff" in our car that we didn't want to have to bring into the hotel.
The location works well for getting around to different parts of Denver, and if you like to walk, it's easy to get anywhere you want in Downtown Denver by foot. The room had a great view of the mountains. And it was spacious and clean. I'd gone back-and-forth on whether spending more money on a trendy, high-end hotel was worth it. I was definitely happy I chose Hyatt Place instead.
The location of the hotel is really amazing! In the center of Denver downtown, so it was very easy to walk around. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very tasty and has bug portions (we got the al a carte option) The room was very spacious and had a super comfy bed. It was the second time I stayed in this hotel, and I would stay there again.
I travel frequently to Denver, my office is downtown so this hotel is my favourite. Good size rooms, gym, pool, wifi all included and heating/ac works well and all rooms have coffee, tea, drinks and snacks. Also prices are competitive- I'm a fan. Also the in-hotel restaurant is pretty good, they have a pizza oven and do a nice pizza- and deliver to the room.
The location of the hotel is great for attending conferences and accessing most of downtown Denver. The room was clean, updated and overall very comfortable. I appreciate the free breakfast. It didn't blow me away, but they provide a nice rotating selection of eggs, potato dish, breakfast meat, yogurt, cereal, baked goods, pancakes, and oatmeal.
I booked this hotel, in part, because of its proximity to the rail line in to Denver - I used the rail a couple of times and the location was very convenient. I also like the cleanliness of the room and the facilities more generally. Also the front desk staff were very helpful and friendly, as were the airport shuttle bus drivers.
Every time I go to Denver I pick this hotel. The location is perfect. Not too far from the airport & not too far from downtown. The hotel is nice & the staff is always friendly. No valet but you can self park in parking garage for a few more dollars a day. Also, it’s location is pretty close to everything.
I enjoyed how close our hotel was to downtown Denver and the cleanliness of the property. They also allowed dogs which helped us tremendously. The breakfast was very nice and worth the money. There’s also a restaurant which is great for when you don’t wanna go anywhere!
We travel to Denver several times a year as it’s my hometown. We always stay downtown to go to the Rockies games. Although there are several other hotels that we’ve stayed at in the same location, this was by far our favorite. We will be staying here from now on.
The hotel was clean, very chic, and modern. We stayed in 3 hotels in 3 days in Denver/Golden and this was the nicest! The happy hour was awesome. The location was perfect to jump on the rail or explore downtown! It was an easy walk to Coors Field.
I really loved my room and my view, the hotel lobby and bar area, the breakfast, and the friendly staff! It was in walking distance and close vicinity to almost everything, so this was the perfect location for downtown Denver!!
Great location in downtown denver - very well equipped room and super modern. Great amenities in the hotel with roof top terrace on the 15th floor as well as fitness room on the 15th floor which we both used.
Great location in the Cherry Creek area, right off Colorado Boulevard. The hotel was nice, the beds comfortable, and there was ample parking. The breakfast, which included hot options, was also good.
Compares well in price with other hotels in downtown Denver. Nice staff and shout out to Teesha for doing a wonderful job. The room upgrade was what I expected. Good location.
Nice rooms - big comfy beds.
Breakfast ok - but nothing fancy
Just outside of downtown Denver, so it’s easy to either walk or take and Uber/Lyft to get to the mid city
This hotel offered the best value in downtown Denver a couple of minutes walking distance to the Colorado Convention center and the main shopping street.
