It was very clean, comfortable and the room had everything we needed. It also had nice outdoor space with a good size parking area. The host was very accommodating and provided clear instructions with checking in to the property. Overall was pleasant and very happy with our stay.

This property has been my family home for generations. Having just (May 2022) completed a full renovation and modernisation i can honestly say I am proud and confident to present and offer complete comfort and relaxation with modern appliances. Newly installed bathroom with large shower tray and plenty of storage for your personal bits and bobs. The kitchen has all fitted appliances including a washing machine and a very large fridge/freezer and a large dining table and chairs. There is one double bedroom with orthopedic mattress with ample storage. The living room has 2 double sofa beds, perfect for a large family. There is also ample storage for guests staying in this room. The garden is for sole use of the ground floor apartment with the exception of parking at the front and access to the upstairs apartment. The upstairs apartment has a similar layout except the kitchen/living area are incorporated, again with modern aplliances and comfortable bed/sofa bed. A veranda with breathtaking mountain views and a truly relaxing tranquil space coupled with a dining table and chairs, should you wish to indulge in home made culinary delights. If not there are local restaurants and cafes.
I would like to welcome you to this special home with your desired intentions. Whether its to relax from your usual hectic working lifestyle, to explore beautiful Cyprus, to persue a sport such as cycling or mountaineering or water sports, this perfect location is central to everything you could wish for.
As well as restaurants, takeaways, cafe's, local grocery shops There are many local attractions. * A picnic area with seating/tables attracting local events that people come to from surrounding villages. * Kornos is renowned for Pottery making, my Grandmother profession. There are 2 located in the village where you can see them being made (by appointment) or to buy. Using a specific clay unique to Kornos. * Stavrovouni (translated means cross mountain, Stavro = cross, Vouni = mountain), a medieval monastery placed just 6km away on the highest mountain is home to residing Monks (Ladies are not allowed) but there is a smaller church should you wish to visit just below the peak of the monastery. Worth a visit for the outstanding views. * There is a large antiques shop just on entering the village, also worth a visit to see all the furniture and bits n bobs that takes you to an era long forgotten. * If you wish to cook or shop for essentials Galaxia supermarket is on the main road just before the entrance to the village. The bakery in the store also offers fresh pastries and authentic hot snacks - (Get there early to avoid disappointment).
