I loved the cute cabin, giant porch, awesome to have a hot tub and look at the stars. The animals on the property we so cute to see as well as scenery. The cabin had everything kitchen wise we needed and was so cozy. Would recommend this place. We loved it.

Kaloko Mauka is a special place up above Kona town! It is a beautiful and serene cloud forest; full of native trees and birds. The temperature up here at 2700 foot elevation is ideal and cool! Both our cabin and cottage are very private and sit on our 5 acre property.
Originally from Oahu, Caroline and Scott moved to the Big Island in 1994 to start a family and live in the country away from the noise and congestion of Honolulu. They enjoy sharing their beautiful mountain property with guests from all over the world!
Kaloko-Mauka is a great place to live! Lots of wide open space and cool weather. Our neighbors are all very nice and watch out for each other. Great hike up the street for those wanting to escape the heat as well as dog walk and bike ride.
