Much better than what I expected. Good club house with kid friendly facilities and convenient food and drink amenities. Club house was open till very late as well. Caravan itself was very nicely decorated, and the facilities were akin to a hotel room. Very unique experience indeed.

A simple, clean, and comfortable room. A throwback to the 1960s, no frills but perfectly adequate -- we kept expecting Angel Martin to show up!

Hot tub, pool, and outdoor relaxation space were a fun addition to our outdoor adventures in Joshua Tree National Park. Our host went above and beyond with daily checkins and assistance. Kitchen was very helpful because the restaurants were crowded during spring break. Beds very comfortable. House quite close to the park so we hiked every day.

Overall, this was an excellent property. It was a clean, comfortable, large and fully supplied home in an excellent location for visiting Joshua Tree National Park. It was easy to enter and exit the home and including everything one would want to stay for a few days or weeks.
Excellent! Great place to go with school-aged kids.
Excellent! Great place to go with school-aged kids. In addition to the park we went to Sky's the Limit at night for the telescopes, which was amazing. We enjoyed Crossroads Cafe and Rib Co. for food. Definitely would return!

High points: at the end of one of the two main roads you'll find Keys View. stunning view into the valley. We arrived about an hour before sunset and it the light was perfect! Take the Barkers Dam trail and on your way back head over to the petroglyphs. Continue on, around the rock face, and you'll find another amazing view of a valley full of Joshua trees.
Park staff were very friendly and helpful. Be forewarned, all toilet facilities are outhouses. They have them all over the park, but the ones at the campgrounds get heavier use.
We were there for two days and got to see the highlights. We went in early March and the weather was cool (68 deg) and sunny. Park wasn't too crowded. But we went on a Monday and Tuesday. It's easy striking distance from LA so beware of weekend crowds.

Beautiful scenery and places to hike in February and cooler times, but it would be too hot to hike in the prime of summer.
There should be some cafes or at least a couple simple restaurants in the park and there were none. There were barely enough vault toilets to accomodate all the visitors within the park, and they were sadly not very clean or pleasant.

This is a true wonder with fantastic sunset views over Coachella valley, and with stunning granite roc formations. Try it ideally outside of long weekends as this is a bit bothering to see more cars than trees 😀.

I loved all of the thrift stores and the outdoor market was wonderful too. Fantastic places to eat like Crossroads Cafe and see live music like Pappy and Harriet's. Fun sights to see like the crochet museum and art galleries throughout the town. Beautiful national park, absolutely gorgeous place to take photographs, especially at dusk when the silhouettes of the joshua trees stand out against the setting sun. Stargazing is mesmerizing in the park at night, but also very satisfying from anywhere in town. Easy to navigate and walk around town.

Star-gazing was great but the nights in November are cold , so bundle up.
Gloves and a hat would have helped. Go early in the day so there was no wait at the entrance to check in and get a pass beforehand. The views are amazing. Some trails are not marked very well, so it's easy to get lost, even on a mile easy hike. We got lost at Baker Dam and of course didn't bring everything you need on a hike, it was only 1 mile hike but turned into a 3 plus mile hike. November is a great time to go.
it’s a small property with a couple of bedrooms and one share bathroom. we booked it after seeing that if we stayed at big bear ski area another night we might get snowed in.. and luckily one room was still available at Casa De Frank. we had the Private Room and it had a huge bed (so comfy) plus a tv with so many channels. There’s a full kitchen here and even a hot tub out the back. Joshua Tree NP is only a couple of miles away. Overall a really comfy nights stay and a GREAT price. Time to go and hug a Joshua Tree!!
I loved the interior and exterior design, the amenities, and the incredible outside area! I felt truly that we lacked nothing, and we had a hard time leaving to go hike in Joshua tree, haha! A pretty good problem to have. I would highly recommend anyone who wants a refuge to stay here. I also loved the provided robes, slippers, and big outdoor hats.
An excellent home base for exploring Joshua Tree NP. We stayed in the shipping container and it was clean, funky and fun. The containers of cookies welcoming us were a nice touch! Sleeping out on the roof deck under the stars was amazing. The staff was immediately responsive to our needs and very friendly.
What an absolute gem this is! A beautiful vacation home with every amenity you could want. Pictures are accurate. Close to joshua tree national park, so it's easy to go there for both sunrise and sunset.
Wonderful record collection to dance the night away. Great kitchen. Great grill in the backyard.
Wonderful location in a dessert retirement home style. Only a 5-minute drive to town and a 20-minute drive to JTNP. Very large yard with Joshua trees, cactus, and open space. Possible to charge in front of the room with a regular charger. Lovely decoration and a surprising vinyl record player!
Amazing location. Right in the middle of the desert, perfect to visit the Joshua Tree National Park. The beds are big and very comfortable. The house overall is supernice, it has a great kitchen and all we could need during our stay. At night we could go out to the yard and watch the stars.
Great location! Close to the entrance of Joshua Tree National Park. The pool is a great way to cool off from the desert heat. The room is great en clean. Very cozy and it has all you need. Communication with the owner/manager went great. Overall very happy with our stay!
Good size room, especially spacious bathroom. Very good lighting in room. Water pressure in shower was great. Table and chairs, microwave and fridge, adequate closet space. Location was only 5 miles from Joshua Tree National Park. Swimming pool and cable tv plus WiFi.
Cozy home right outside the entrance to Joshua tree national park. Comfy beds, well stocked kitchen, adorable backyard with a relaxing hot tub. My kiddo especially liked the pac man game in the kids room! Quick and easy communication with the property managers.
Everything was great, our yurt was clean and comfy. We weren’t cold at all during the night. Overall it’s a beautiful and unique location in Joshua Tree. Just make sure you read their instructions and website descriptions and come prepared.
The bungalow was our best stay so far on our road trip. We loved the design, the view, the kitchen which was perfectly equipped and also a lovely bathroom. It was just perfect and close to Joshua Tree National Park.
The location was close to Joshua Tree National park. The house had 2 outdoor sitting areas to relax and all windows to enjoy the views. Jose also checked in to make sure everything was going well during the stay.
Perfect location and setting for a couple day stay near Joshua Tree National Park. The house has everything needed for a relaxing retreat. The hosts are very communicative and caring of a successful experience.
liked that it is located near the main entrance to Joshua Tree Park. Beautiful view of the sunset, mountains, moon and stars in the evening. Very interesting wild lizards run around the hotel.
