Nice desk clerk. Downhill after that. This is an ancient motel, and although the room was clean, it smelled atrocious of mold. If I hadn't been very tired. The smell would have kept me awake.

Hotel is 1/4 off I-70 easy on off access, I got checked in at 7:30pm and all 1st floor rooms were taken, they gave me 2nd floor room which was quiet enough and clean and comfy. I had several bags of luggage and had to climb stairs three times because no elevator onsite, at 72yrs I got a work out! Green River is a small town with the John Powell museum...
Green River is a small town with the John Powell museum right next to the hotel. Has a couple good restaurants and a nice grocery store. There are lots of Jeep and ATV trails right out of Green River

We didnt spend much time in town but there were good restaurants, a good museum. and a decent coffee shop. ( a must for us). It was a good base for bicycling.. We ate at Rays, the Tamarisk... both good. We will definitely go back sometime to explore more dirt roads. Also the melons were great. took 4 home!janeUnited States of America

The breakfast is at their restaurant so you order off the menu, which is extensive. It’s not the usual breakfast buffet at most hotels. The Town of Green River is very tiny. So don’t plan to go there to shop. Their restaurant is the ONLY restaurant in that town I would go to. This hotel was really nice, especially for the area.MARYUnited States of America
