Bed and pillows were comfirtable. The breakfast was great, but only available at 6:30 am. We were hoping to be gone by then, and as we debated about waiting, we were offered a breakfast package to take with us. We decided to wait, and we were very glad that we did. It was worth the wait! We liked the access we had to an entrance at the back of rhe building, because of having to park at the back. Great proximity to our room.

We visited Lookout Mountain and the grave of buffalo bill.
We visited Lookout Mountain and the grave of buffalo bill. Great views here and a free attraction.
the Coors Brewery we attended for a tasting (the tours book up far in advance so be sure to book ahead). The tasting is good value for money and the staff were informative and friendly! The tasting room is nice and has lots of historic photographs to check out! Of course there is a gift shop with some great souvenirs and pricing was not bad!
We went to a concert at Red Rocks outside of Golden and we highly recommend checking this place out!
We would have liked more time to check out downtown Golden so we will need to return!

Love, love this town.
Love, love this town. You have to try the Buffalo Rose and make sure you try the Deli in the center of town ... best sandwiches. The Tea Shop called Old BarrelTea is an absolute must and the liquor store directly behind it as well lots of local bourbon whiskey and spirits. Love the pace and the friendly people here and its BEAUTIFUL!

Golden is my favorite place to stay when visiting CO.
Golden is my favorite place to stay when visiting CO. It is close to Denver downtown, as well as the outdoor recreation of the Rockies. The city is clean and has markedly less drifter and homeless folks than Denver or Boulder.
The microbrewery out near table mountain (New Frontier, I think) is a great place to spend a Saturday. Local venders, brewers, dogs and their owners all come together for music, shopping and entertainment on their very spacious patio. They also have some low difficulty trails and a dog park right there at the brewery!
Table Mountain Inn is very charming and has very kind and helpful staff. Unless you are on a very tight budget, do your best to avoid the La Quinta.

Lots to see and do here, besides the obvious front range...
Lots to see and do here, besides the obvious front range location for fastest commuter access to Summit Count skiing. Be sure to swing by Lookout Mountain and Buffalo Bill Cody site, also visit the park nearby to see the bison herd. Red Rocks amphitheater including the Rock & Roll museum is worth a half day. You can hike there across the ridge from Morrisey park down the road, in good weather, takes a few hours round trip. Worth a visit to historic downtown Golden, you can kill a whole day exploring there, plus tours available if you don't want to self guide.
This property is the antithesis of a stuffy, fussy bed and breakfast. The rooms, including the carriage house, feel historic but fresh, and are very comfortable for a multi-night stay. The carriage house was the perfect size for a couple, the king bed was very comfortable and the shower had great water pressure and complimentary toiletries. The Inn’s main living area includes comfortable living and dining areas with plenty of seatinf, complimentary breakfast and coffee, and a nice hangout spot after your day.

The waffles were delicious and the yogurt parfaits were delectable! We enjoyed our time in the outdoor bar area and the menu items we tried were all very good.
The large 4th floor patios for hotel guest only were a lovely way to spend some time in the evenings.
The location of the hotel is perfect to walk downtown and to the river. Easy onsite parking. The inside is updated with a nice bit of history. The creek side rooms have a lovely view. Wonderful breakfast in the restaurant downstairs.
The couple running it are super nice and the location was a great, quick walk to downtown Golden, hiking trails, and 5-10 min walk to Colorado School of Mines.
The hosts couldn't have been nicer and Judy cooked an amazing breakfast every morning for us. The house was beautiful and very convenient for Golden centre.
